The method, Bierleitungs-u. Like. To clean pipes by means of a pressurized water jet and sand blower, has so far been carried out with a device which consists of a sand vessel, at the bottom of which a jet blower is attached diametrically, which can be connected on the one hand to a water pipe and on the other hand to the beer pipe.
This arrangement suffers from the disadvantage that in order to prevent the nozzle pipe lying horizontally inside the sandgo keg from clogging as a result of the impact of the pressurized water jet, it was necessary to install an external, lockable bypass, which had to be opened when the device was in use, while the beer line was provisionally was closed. This made the device more expensive, but it was difficult to operate.
In the present invention, the known idea is now practically implemented in a different way, namely in such a way that the apparatus, once it is connected to the water and beer

simple way to regulate, depending on whether wider or narrower pipes are to be cleaned, which has also been done without the use of construction parts worth mentioning, which make the apparatus more expensive.
The device is on the accompanying drawing in Fig. 1 in view and in F) g. 2 in longitudinal section d. irrelated.
The essence of the new design is that the jet nozzle, which is also expediently provided with lateral openings n, runs in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the sand container b and is adjustable so that its tip more or less deeply into the outlet opening a des Container b occurs and this more or less closes. For this purpose, a bushing c is rotatably mounted on the stuffing box s surrounding the supply pipe r, which is provided with an external thread and screwed into an internal threading bushing e attached to the container.
By turning the sleeve e forwards or backwards in the sleeve e, the pipe r is now also pushed back and forth with it, but without threatening it itself.
The container b, which is provided with an opening o for introducing the granular material, is in use with the line to be cleaned through a sleeve 111

surrounding outflow nozzle of the container b and through the relevant line, so that the cleaning of the pipe wall takes place. It can then be rinsed later with pure water.
