Im Patent Nr. 204572 ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von übertragspositivfilmen für Druckwalzen für den Textildruck unter Verwendung von Rasternegativen für den Voll-, Halb-und Viertelton geoffenbart. In diesem Falle besteht die Erfindung in der Kombination von Punktrasternegativen mit 45 -Neigung sowohl für den Halb- als auch für den Viertelton und Linienrasternegativen mit 250 bis 300-Neigung für den Vollton, wobei die Haschurlinien und die Punkte der einzelnen Raster im gleichen Zahlenverhältnis zueinander gewählt werden.
Dieses nach dem Stammpatent gleiche Zahlenverhältnis zwischen Linien und Punkten der einzelnen Raster kann gemäss vorliegender Erfindung auch eine geringfügige Abänderung erfahren und so gewählt werden, dass die Zahl der Punkte pro cm die Zahl der Linien pro cm höchstens mit 4 über-oder unterschreitet.
Es wurde nämlich durch Versuche gefunden, dass bei Verwendung eines Haschurlinienrasters mit 18 Linien pro cm für den Vollton auch ein Punktraster für den Halbund Viertelton angewendet werden kann, bei dem pro cm höchstens 22 oder wenigstens 14 Punkte gezählt werden. Trotz dieser Ver- änderung des Zahlenverhältnisses zwischen Linien und Punkten in dem angegebenen Masse, ist es, wie beim Stammpatent möglich, den Voll-, Halb- und Viertelton in einem einzigen Ätzvorgang auf der Druckwalze herzustellen, ohne dass der spätere Druckausfall unbefriedigend wäre.
