Damit nun der Wellenstrom, der der Streckenleitung an einer Geberstation übertragen wird, den Klopfer des Gebers in Tätigkeit setzen kann, ist ein Elektromagnet 24 an jeder Station vorgesehen, der selbst in dem Stromkreis des Wechselstromes an der Geberstation sich befindet. Dieser Elektromagnet muss bei seiner Erregung durch den fortgehenden Wechselstrom seinen Anker von dem normalen Kontakt 25 abziehen und den Klopferstromkreis, der auch genannten Anker mit seinem Kontakt enthält, öffnen, so dass der Geber sein eigenes Sendesignal erhält.
Damit nun ein Ton, der durch das Freigeben des Klopferankers hervorgehoben wird, sich vollständig von dem Ton unterscheidet, der durch dessen Anziehung hervorgerufen wird, wird ein Tondämpfer 26 angeordnet, der mit der Ankerschraube 27 bei der Anziehung genannten Ankers in Berührung kommt.
