Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

    Staubsaugerdüse

    Vacuum cleaner nozzle
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle in which, according to patent no. 199154, the edge of the suction opening is provided over its entire circumference with parts rolling on the object to be cleaned.

   In one embodiment of the parent patent, freely rotatable, parallel rollers are provided on the housing in a manner known per se, over which closed endless belts are guided to delimit the suction space on the sides lying transversely to the rollers.

   The invention consists in that at least one of the rollers has a reduced diameter in places, preferably in the middle, compared to the remaining area of the rollers.

   In the drawing, the invention is explained in more detail by means of an exemplary embodiment in a view of the suction nozzle from below:
One of the two parallel rollers 2 is formed with a reduced diameter at certain points 4, preferably in the middle. At these points 4 air is sucked in during operation, which also entrains dust, waste or the like immediately in front of the roller 2.
