   Die Vorrichtung ist in der Zeichnung im Schnitt dargestellt ; sie besteht in einer der zu erzielenden Form des Zigarrenendes entsprechenden Matrize A, sowie einem kegelförmigen   Stift B   mit einer langen sicheren Führung, welcher genau zentral in den Wickel der Zigarre eindringt und den Tabak bei   a äusserst   stark verdichtet, während die Dichte nach b zu stetig abnimmt, so dass der Tabak bei c noch gehörig durchlässig ist, um den Rauch durchzulassen. 



   Bei der mittels der beschriebenen Vorrichtung hergestellten Zigarre erfährt das vorher mehr oder minder angefeuchtete Ende des Wickels von aussen und innen eine Pressung, und zwar derart, dass der lose Tabak nach dem Ende zn eine zunehmende Dichte zeigt und die ihm erteilte Form an dem spitzen Ende behält, wodurch es ermöglicht wird, das Deckblatt in bekannter Weise um den Rand der gebildeten Öffnung bequem herumzulegen und in dieselbe zu stecken.
