Austrian PATENT LETTER N 17649.
KARL KADLEC IN VIENNA.
Flush valve for toilets with a water-free valve housing when not in use.
The subject of the present invention is the improvement of such flushing valves for toilets, in which -between the inlet and respectively. Shut-off valve and the drain an air valve is switched on, which is when the fluid flows through the pressure
EMI1.1
water in the housing can drain away.
As can be seen from FIGS. 1-3 of the drawing, a longitudinal section, a top view and a cross section according to A - A, the device consists of a shut-off valve 7 in chamber 1 and the air valve, which is expediently designed like a piston, in chamber 2 The known mode of operation of the flushing valve is that when the valve 7 is pressed down, the flushing water penetrates through the openings 18, 3 into the chamber 2, presses the air valve 8 onto its seat and flows off through the line 6. In a novel way, the air valve, which is under the action of a closing spring 20, has a pin 21 guided in the housing, which is located in the area of the rear arm of the pulling lever 22.
This device results in a reliable closure of the air valve when the valve 7 is opened by means of the trigger 23, because the same is still the case
