SlEGFRIED BONDY AND MORIZ HARTMANN, BOTH IN VIENNA.
Device for automatic emptying of the riser pipe in domestic water pipes.
Fig. 1 of the drawing shows the overall arrangement of the individual parts to be used, Fig. 2 shows the contact arrangement of the tap in plan.
The mode of operation of the apparatus is as follows: When the outlet tap a is opened, the electromagnet c is excited by the arrangement shown in FIG. 2 by means of a driver b (or by means of another automatic device or direct pressure contact). The cores attract the armature d, whereby the slide e located in the pipe 1 is opened. At the same time, the arm i snaps under the nose v of the armature g, by which it is held, even if the electromagnet c has ceased to act as a result of the interrupted electrical current. The water now flows through the opened pipe 1, pressing the slide f upwards on its way, so that it closes the drainage pipe o and the branch pipe m to the riser h.
The excess pressure of the water in the line holds the slide f in its final position despite the counteracting weights tt. At the same time, after the non-return valve p has opened, the water rises through the riser h and reaches the drain through the outlet straw a. If the outlet cock a is now closed again, the driver b energizes the electromagnet r by means of an electrical current connection - for example by means of the stop contact 8 (shown in dotted lines). The cores attract the armature g, whereby the arm i is triggered and the slide e is consequently brought back into the final position by the spring t.
This interrupts the inflow of the water, therefore the water column in the riser 11 and in the inflow pipe 1 is free of pressure; the check valve is controlled by the weight of the in the riser line h
The water column is closed and the slide f is opened by the effect of the weight n. The one located in the riser h up to the closed check valve p
Water now empties when the air valve is open, which is contained in the riser, but has been omitted in the drawing as being insignificant for the subject matter of the invention.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device for the automatic emptying of the riser pipe in domestic water pipes, characterized in that when opening BEZW. Closing an outlet valve (a) contacts are made, whereby a circuit closes each, which actuates two electromagnets (c and,.), Through whose action a gate valve (e) alternately opens and / or opens the inflow line (I). blocked and at the same time when opening the outlet tap an emptying valve (/) closes or closes the riser pipe fil) due to the water pressure. when the outlet tap (a) is closed, it is opened by the effect of weight, which means that the entire riser can empty.
