Es sind bereits verschiedene Widerstandsschweissmaschinen mit in die Elektrodenrolle eingebautem Transformator (Rolltrafo) bekannt, die eine besondere Kühlung benötigen. Die bisher hiefür verwendeten Kühlvorrichtungen sind jedoch entweder nicht genügend wirksam (z. B. normale Luftzirkulation durch Gehäuseschlitze) oder kompliziert und teuer (z. B. Wasser-oder Ölkühlung). Der Erfindungsgegenstand betrifft nun eine Verbesserung der Luftkühlung, indem die Kühlluft mittels eines in der Mitte des Rolltrafos angeordneten Ventilators zwangläufig bewegt wird. Der Antriebsmotor des Ventilators ist an einem Lagerschild des Trafos angebracht und primärseitig am Trafo angeschlossen.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes ist in der Zeichnung veranschaulicht, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 einen lotrechten Schnitt durch den Rolltrafo und Fig. 2 dessen Seitenansicht bei abgenommenen Lagerschild.
Der Kranz der Elektrodenrolle besteht aus zwei im geringen Abstand voneinander angeordneten, im Querschnitt winkelförmigen Ringen 2, die mit einer ihrer Schenkelflächen zueinander parallel liegen. Der so entstehende Doppelring ist mittels U-förmiger, den Trafokern bzw. Traforingkern 1 umfassender Laschen 3 im Abstand vom Trafokern 1 gehalten und bildet gleich die Sekundär- seite des Trafos. Zwischen den Laschen 3 sind in bekannter Weise die Primärspulen 6 auf dem Ringkern 1 des Trafos aufgesetzt, die den Strom von an einem der Lagerschilde 9 angeordneten
Schleifringen 7 erhalten. Die Lagerschilde 9 sind im Abstand vom Ringtrafo gehalten und mit diesem durch Bolzen bzw. Spannschrauben 8 verbunden. Die Lagerzapfen 5 der Lagerschilde 9 ruhen in entsprechenden, auf seitlichen Ständern10 befindlichen Lagern.
In der Mitte des Ringtrafos ist erfindungsgemäss ein Ventilator 4 angeordnet, dessen Antriebsmotor 11 an einem Lagerschild 9 befestigt und primärseitig am Rolltrafo angeschlossen ist. Die Wirkungsweise dieser Lüftungs-bzw. Kühleinrichtung geht aus Fig. 1 deutlich hervor, in der die Luftein-und austrittswege 12 durch Pfeile angedeutet sind.
