Die möglichst zentrale Gichtung des Brennmaterials und möglichst peripherische Aufgabe des Möllers ist bekanntlich stetig erstrebter Wunsch des Hüttenfachmannes, damit dadurch der Vorrolltendenz des schwereren Möllers in die Ofenmitte möglichst entgegengearbeitet wird. 



   Fig. 1 zeigt weiters die Anwendung der neuen Beschickung in Fällen, wo es nötig erscheint, ein gewisses Material in einer bestimmten Ofenzone direkt in die Materialsäule hineinzubringen. In diesem Falle nimmt die   niedersinkende   Materialsäule den mechanisch eingedrückten Stoff mit. 



   In Fig. 2 ist ein   Gichtverschluss skizziert,   bei dem der Deckel 5 um das Zentralgasrohr 4 und am Schachtmauerwerk 6 drehbar angeordnet und in üblicher Weise mit   Wasserverschluss   versehen ist. Das Gichten des Brennmaterials geschieht hier in, resp. durch das Gasrohr 4 genau zentral, jenes des Möllers aber peripherisch durch Anbringung eines oder mehrerer Apparate der beschriebenen Art oder dgl. an dem drehbaren Deckel resp. 



  Deckelring 5. Bei dieser Ausführung kann die Peripherie des Ofens eventuell blos durch einen Apparat, der sich samt dem Ring 5 dreht, periodisch oder kontinuierlich beschickt werden.
