Vorrichtung zum Anzeigen des Offenstehens von Gashähnen
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Vorrichtung zum Anzeigen des Offenstehens von Gashähnen mit Hilfe einer mit Leuchtstoff versehenen Warnscheibe. Es ist bekannt, Gashähne mit Anzeigevorrichtungen zu verbinden, um an entsprechend sichtbaren Merkzeichen die Stellung der Hähne erkennen zu lassen. Insbesondere wurde bereits vorgeschlagen, beim Drehen des Gashahnes eine am Hahn angebrachte Warnscheibe, die mit Leuchtstoff versehen ist, erscheinen oder verschwinden zu lassen.
Die vorliegende Erfindung bezweckt, die Hahnstellung des Haupt-oder Gasometerhahnes hauptsächlich beim Absperren einer Wohnung oder Verlassen eines Geschäftes bei der Ausgangstüre ersichtlich zu machen, um so ungewollten Gasausströmungen vorzubeugen. Sie erreicht diesen Zweck dadurch, dass die mit Leuchtstoff versehene Warnscheibe nicht am Gashahn selber, sondern an einer anderen den Blicken leicht zugänglichen

unter Zwischenschaltung eines Zugdrahtes verbunden sind, dessen eines Ende an einem zungenförmigen Teil einer am Hahnkopf aufgesetzten Platte befestigt ist, während das andere Ende am oberen Teil des Trägers der Warnscheibe derart eingehängt ist, dass bei Offenstehen des Hahnes der Träger in lotrechter Lage sich befindet, während beim Schliessen des Hahnes ein am Träger befindliches Gewicht diesen in die waagrechte Lage ziehen kann.
Durch die Vereinigung dieser besonderen Massnahmen und Ausgestaltungen wird eine möglichst einfache Vorrichtung zum Anzeigen des Offenstehens von Gashähnen an beliebiger Stelle geschaffen. Eine Umarbeitung der bestehenden Gashähne ist nicht erforderlich und die Vorrichtung kann von jedermann selbst montiert werden. Insbesondere wird auch jede Verwendung von elektrischen Schaltkontakten, durch die in bekannter Weise bei geöffneten Gashähnen ein elektrischer Stromkreis geschlossen wird, der ein elektrisches Licht-oder Warnsignal an beliebiger Stelle in Tätigkeit setzt, vermieden.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführung der Vorrichtung nach der Erfindung schematisch dargestellt. Die Fig. 1 und 2 zeigen die Warnscheibe bzw. ihre Verbindung mit dem Hahn, wenn dieser in geöffneter Stellung sich befindet. Die Fig. 3 und 4 zeigen die Vorrichtung bei geschlossenem Hahn.
Bei dem Gashahn ist rückwärts am Rohr eine zweiteilige Doppelschelle 1 mit Mutterschraube 2 befestigt. Im oberen Teil der Doppelschelle 1 ist die Schutzhülle 3 der Verbindung 15 eingeklemmt. Am Hahnkopf wird eine Platte 4 mit Zunge aufgesetzt, welche ein Loch 5 zum Einhängen der Verbindung 15 besitzt.
Die Schutzhülle 3 mit der Verbindung 15 (flexible Welle, Draht im Schutzrohr usw.) wird entweder frei im Raum wie eine Rohrleitung mit Schellen an der Wand befestigt oder eingemauert.
Die Warnscheibe wird am gewünschten Ort angebracht. Eine Grundplatte 6, welche an der Wand senkrecht befestigt wird, trägt in der Mitte eine waagrechte Stütze 7, auf welcher sich eine Doppelschelle 8 zum Befestigen der Schutzhülle 3, der Träger 9 der Warnscheibe und die Warnscheibe 10 mit phosphoreszierender Fläche befinden. Der Träger 9 ist auf einem Bolzen 11 zwischen zwei Laschen 12 drehbar gelagert, besitzt oberhalb dieses Bolzens das Bewegungs- loch 13 zum Einhängen des anderen Endes der
Verbindung 15 und trägt obenauf noch ein
Gewicht 14.
Wird der Hahn geöffnet, so bewegt sich die

Verbindung 15 wird aus der Schutzhülle 3 heraus- gezogen und am anderen Ende bei der Warn- scheibe in die Schutzhülle hineingezogen, wodurch der Träger 9 mit der phosphoreszierenden Warn- scheibe 10 und dem Gewicht 14 gehoben wird.
Die phosphoreszierende Fläche des Gegenstandes ist somit ersichtlich und zeigt an, dass der Hahn offen ist. Schliesst man den Hahn, so kommt das Loch 5 in der Zunge der Platte 4 näher zur

The combination of these special measures and configurations creates the simplest possible device for indicating that gas taps are open at any point. The existing gas taps do not need to be modified and the device can be assembled by anyone.
