Process for the production of new amines
In the parent patent no. 162911, a process for the preparation of new amines is described, which is characterized in that hydrogenated fluoranthenes are reacted with alkyl halides containing a basic group or a substituent which can be converted into such, in the presence of hydrogen halide-releasing agents, optionally the converted into a basic group into a basic group and, if desired, treated the compounds obtained with reducing agents and'or quaternized. In this patent, 1,2-dihydrofluoranthenes are not mentioned as starting materials.
The subject of the present additional patent now forms a process for the production of new amines according to the parent patent no. 162911, which is characterized in that one

Alkyl halides can be straight or branched or arranged as part of a ring. These alkyl halides contain as basic groups I. B. an amino group substituted by aliphatic, alicyclic, araliphatic or heterocyclic radicals, the nitrogen atom also being part of a ring, e.g. B. the piperidine or morpholine ring. Substituents which can be converted into basic groups are, for. B. halogen atoms, oxy, acylamino or nitrile groups.
In particular, the following reaction components may be mentioned: chloroethyl diethylamine, chloroethyldibutylamine, chloroethylpiperidine, chloroethylmorpholine, chloropropyldimethylamine, bromopropyl diethylamine, chloroisopropyldimethylamine, bromoisopropyl diethylamine, chlorobutyl

toluenesulfonic acid ester or chloroacetonitrile.
The alkylation is conveniently carried out in the presence of inert solvents, such as. B. toluene, benzene, xylene, nitrobenzene and optionally in the presence of inert gases such as nitrogen, carried out. Agents that split off hydrogen halide include: alkali and alkaline earth metals, such as Nm'm, Kaliurc, lithium, calcium, their amides:. Hydrocarbon hydrides

tylat or potassium tert. amylate. If the reaction gives compounds which have substituents which can be converted into basic groups, these are subsequently converted into basic groups; so z.
B. an oxy group is first replaced by a halogen atom and the halogen compounds obtained are treated with ammonia or amines; an acylamino compound is distilled or a nitrile is converted into the corresponding amine by reduction.
The dihydrofluoranthene derivatives obtained in this way can be further saturated with hydrogen. With the help of hydrogen z. B. in the presence of a nickel catalyst, the tetrahydrofluoranthene derivatives already described in the main patent.
The new amines readily form salts, e.g. B. with hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid or sulfuric acid.
The compounds thus prepared can be quaternized by treatment with reactive esters of alcohols such as alkyl halides, alkenyl halides, aryl sulfonic acid esters, dialkyl sulfates or aralkyl halides.
Compounds obtained according to the method are intended to be used therapeutically or serve as intermediates.
The invention is described in more detail in the following examples, without thereby limiting its scope, the relationship between part by weight and part by volume being the same as that between grams and cubic centimeters.
