Beim erstgenannten Vorgang bzw.

Process for the production of artificial veneers
It has already been suggested to be expensive
To replace veneering of wooden panels and panels made of plastic masses with wood veneers by one made of paper printed with a wood grain pattern.
According to a known method, the
Boards or wooden surfaces with such
Paper and a further, transparent paper layer glued on and, after the glue has dried, polished in the usual way.
According to a further procedure, the
Veneer layer formed from a number of layers of paper bonded together by adhesive, all of which contain the same drawing, the layers being superimposed in such a way that the drawings of the layers coincide. Apart from the fact that the congruence of these drawings is no longer given when veneering sharp curvatures, the error-free mounting of a large number of paper layers is a tedious process.
In the case of the first-mentioned process or method, the achievement of a high-contrast and lively grain image is not guaranteed due to the covering paper layer.
In all of these methods, only simple grain patterns are used which, in practical use, first have to be put together to form grain figures in various cut formats, which requires a lot of wasted time and work
Cuts are created.
The inventive method avoids these disadvantages by using a single paper layer and consists in that a fine wood grain image is transferred onto a paper web by phototechnical means, u. zw. According to the invention in such a way that common burl figures are already put together during printing in the usual cross joint, u. between standard dimensions that correspond to the usual dimensions of front parts, furniture parts, doors and the like. a. so that finished piece parts are created in this way.
All the disadvantages of cutting, fitting, jointing and waste are eliminated.
The process is such that selected grain patterns or entire front or furniture parts with grain figure patterns after the photo

Paper webs or sheets printed in this way are either impregnated with colorless nitro lacquer and glued onto wooden panels or panels made of plastic compounds, or they are impregnated with synthetic resin emulsions and cured while warm on panels made of plastic compounds.
Since the plate dimensions match those of the printing

getting produced.
In the case of grain patterns of smaller standard dimensions that are to be pressed or glued onto a large format panel in the given press format, the dimensions of the grain papers are arranged in such a way that the sum of the small format areas is equal to or approximately the same as the panel area, so that when the Large-format panels according to the cutting lines%, there is almost no waste, but small finished parts.
