EMI1.1
The atomizer forming the subject of the invention, which in particular for air humidification, for moistening green malt and. Like. Can be used, makes it possible to blow a controllable mixture of water dust and air at the point of use.
The atomizer shown in longitudinal section in the drawing consists of a cylindrical housing a to be connected to a water supply line d, which is designed in the shape of a cone at one end and is penetrated by an axially arranged, screwed-in pipe b, which is sealed by the cover c closing the other end of the housing is guided and can be connected to a compressed air line. The housing is provided with holes 9 in its jacket and is surrounded by a screwed-on nozzle h which encloses the conical end of the housing and the end of the air discharge pipe b protruding from the same with clearance.
The position of the pipe b and the nozzle 11 with respect to the conical end of the housing can be changed by screwing the first two parts forward or back, thereby regulating the narrow, annular passage cross-section between the nozzle and the housing and between the nozzle and the pipe b.
The air stream emerging from the tube b into the nozzle mouth sucks water from the inside of the water-filled housing through the holes g into the narrow, conical cavity between the housing and the nozzle and this thin water jacket is mixed with air in the form of dust from the nozzle into the space to be humidified respectively. driven onto the object to be wetted.
Depending on the position of the nozzle and air outlet pipe, not only the mixing ratio but also the fineness of the water dust is changed according to the respective purposes.
For the purpose of humidifying the air, the liquid disintegrator is rigidly attached to the ceiling of the room to be humidified, or it is connected to flexible air and water pipes so that it can be guided to the desired points by hand.
