   Der Zweck dieses neuen Lehrmittols besteht darin, auf leichte und genaue Weise die Grenzen von Ländern oder Landkartenteilen mittels Stiftes durch Nachziehen des äussersten Randes der Schablonen auf Papier zu übertragen, um auf diese Weise die Einprägung der Grenzen zu erleichtern. Diese Schablonen, welche sowohl von den einzelnen Ländern Österreich-Ungarns, als auch von den Ländern Europas und auch von den Erdteilen und deren einzelnen Ländern hergestellt werden, sind aus Pappe, Blech oder sonstigem Materiale und zeigen die wichtigsten Biegungen der Grenze. Damit sie richtig aufgelegt werden, ist durch die Mitte ein horizontaler und vertikal'Strich gezogen ; die einzelnen Weltgegenden tragen den Vermerk : Norden, Süden, Osten, Westen.
