Rundfunktechnik an Montageplatten od. dgl.

Attachment of housings of electrical variable resistors or similar switching elements for the
Radio technology on mounting plates or the like.
The invention relates to a type of fastening of housings of electrical variable resistors or similar switching elements for radio technology on mounting plates or the like. In known designs, a socket is used to guide and support the axis of rotation of the variable resistor, which is firmly connected to the housing and provided with an external thread , inserted through a corresponding hole in the mounting plate and fastened to the plate by means of a nut. If a different axle bearing is provided for a switching element, so that the bushing is no longer necessary, or if a threaded bushing is not present at all on the rheostat for any other reason, then the known type of fastening is not possible.
For such cases, the invention offers an appropriate type of fastening; It consists essentially in the fact that one or more holding parts are arranged on the housing of the variable resistor, which after passing through corresponding holes in the mounting plate by means of clamping members that are moved parallel to the plane of the mounting plate and engaging on or in the holding parts, establish the positive connection of the housing with the Effect mounting plate. In this case, the holding parts are expediently designed in the shape of a hook and, for example, fastened to the housing by spot welding or formed from the housing material itself by punching and bending. Resilient brackets are preferably used as clamping elements, by means of which the play-free seating of the control resistor on the mounting plate is ensured.
In a further embodiment of the type of fastening according to the invention, the holding parts themselves can be designed to be resilient and provided at their ends with bead-shaped projections or the like, which, after the holding parts have been inserted into the corresponding holes of the mounting plate, are frictionally attached to the side of the mounting plate facing away from the housing hang up. In this embodiment, the resilient holding parts are expediently secured in their position after they have been inserted into the corresponding holes in the mounting plate on the side of the mounting plate facing away from the housing by means of cotter pins or the like.
In the drawing, exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are shown, u. 1 and 2 show the attachment of a variable resistor housing to a mounting plate by non-resilient holding parts in view and plan view, FIGS. 3 and 4 show a similar embodiment, also with non-resilient holding parts in view and plan view, and FIGS. 5 and 6 the Attachment of a switching element housing to a mounting plate by means of resilient holding parts in view and plan view.
On the housing a, hook-shaped holding parts b are fastened, for example by riveting, spot welding or the like. The legs d of the holding parts b reaching through the openings in the mounting plate c are provided with recesses into which a resilient bracket e engages. Between the housing a and the mounting plate c, an intermediate layer t is provided, which is preferably made of elastic material. When attaching the housing a to the mounting plate c, the legs d of the holding parts b are inserted through their openings and the resilient bracket e is pushed into the slots of the legs d by moving parallel to the plane of the mounting plate c.
The middle part of the bracket e is arched up and resilient, so that when it is inserted into the slots d it pulls the housing a firmly against the mounting plate c. To increase the contact pressure and to adapt the fastening means to mounting plates c of different thicknesses, the intermediate layers / are selected to be correspondingly strong.

In the embodiment according to FIGS. 3 and 4, instead of the retaining bracket e, a resilient, hairpin-shaped bracket g is inserted into the holding parts b, so that its resilient leg ends exert their spring force from the inside to the outside against the holding parts b. Otherwise, the attachment of the housing a takes place in the same way as in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 and 2.
In the attachment of FIGS. 5 and 6 are the. Holding parts b made of resilient material.
At the free ends of the holding parts b, bead-like attachments h or the like are attached which, after the holding parts have been inserted into corresponding openings in the mounting plate c, rest in a non-positive manner on the side facing away from the housing a. The holding parts act in a similar way to what is known with snap fasteners. If necessary, the position of the holding parts can be secured by means of cotter pins, the shape of which corresponds approximately to the bracket e and g according to FIG. 2 and 4, respectively.
The invention is not limited to the illustrated and described embodiment, it is also used wherever it is a question of preventing electrical switching elements with other parts or with one another in an easily detachable and non-positive manner without the use of screws.
