Multi-pole overcurrent protection with an overcurrent actuated strike armature to prevent the contacts from welding together.
Multipole overcurrent contactors with a switch armature are known. which moves the moving contact set into the exhibition and exhibition. and a sight anchor. which responds to overcurrent and, after de-energizing the holding magnet by means of a separate overcurrent armature, suddenly hits the movable contact set and thereby tears the weld points of the fixed contacts with the movable ones that are in the process of being formed before the weld points have cooled down or have assumed a larger size. These contactors are particularly suitable for switching under oil because they do not have an arc blow.
By adding blowing devices of a known type, such contactors can also be made suitable for switching large short-circuit currents in air. The invention relates to a particularly simple and compact design of such a multi-pole contactor, in which the magnet for actuating the overcurrent armature and the impact armature is designed in such a way that it also generates the blowing field at the same time. According to the invention, its core is arranged between the contacts on one side and the switching magnet core on the other, because this results in the most economical construction and, because of the smaller distance between the contacts and the blow coil, the strongest blown field.
Furthermore, according to the invention, the two magnetic cores are opposed to one another with their pole faces and the two armatures, switch armature and impact armature, are arranged between them.
For three-phase current, the blowing magnet core is expediently designed as a four-legged core, in order to save space and to simplify production, which carries the blowing coil in the middle between two legs. The four legs are opposite the anchor, while the blower plates are attached to the yoke on the other side of the yoke. The impact armature can also take over the function of the overcurrent armature if the arrangement is made so that it uses the switching magnet z.
B. de-energized by opening a normally closed contact in the circuit of the switching coil. In some cases it is particularly advantageous to combine the sehaltanker with the sehaltanker in a single part: then the de-excitation of the switching magnet must be effected by a separate overcurrent armature or another device that responds to overcurrent.
The contactor according to the invention can also be used in a known manner with additional tripping

1 and 2 show an embodiment in two partially sectioned views. The switching magnet 24 with the switching armature 22, which is designed as an E-magnet, is excited by the switching coil 23 which is connected to voltage. By means of the two connecting plates 9, which are fastened to the outer legs of the switching magnet 24, this is firmly connected to the blow magnet core 19. The blowing magnet core 19 has four legs 20, the pole faces of which are opposite those of the switching magnet 24. The armature 22 is movably arranged between the two in such a way that the guide rails 7 attached to its end faces pass freely through openings in the connecting plates 9 and run in the slots 6 of the contact bracket 1.
The contact bracket 7 is U-shaped and carries on its upper web the insulating pieces 12, in which the contact against the pressure of the springs 25

bridges 36 are stored. The contact clip is pulled up by the retraction springs 8 into the switch-off position, not shown. Against the pull of these springs, when the switching magnet 24 is excited, the guide rails 7 attached to the armature 22 take it down and bring it into the switched-on position. The fixed contact pieces 18 are fastened on the rails 15, these in turn on an insulating piece 14. The yoke of the blow magnet 19 is provided with three blow coils 21 located in the main circuit.
To the right and left of the blowing coils 21, the spark chamber walls 10 with the blowing plates 11 are placed on the yoke of the blowing magnet. The current takes its way from the supply terminal 28 through the fixed contact 13, the contact bridge 26, the other fixed contact 13, a bimetallic strip 27 acting as a heat release, the blowing coil 21, the connecting line 16, the rail 17 and the outgoing terminals 29 Auxiliary contacts 2 and 4 are switched on and off by the resilient contact bridge attached to the contact bracket 1 in an isolated manner. 3 actuated.
When an overcurrent occurs, an overcurrent armature (not shown), which can be attached to the side of the blow magnet, for example, opens a break contact in the circuit of the coil 28, de-excites the switching magnet 24, and then the armature 22 is attracted by the legs of the blow magnet 20, the armature 22 takes the contact bracket with it suddenly and thus brings the movable contact set safely into the switch-off position. In this case, the switch armature also functions as a drop anchor. In many cases it is particularly advantageous to attach a special drop anchor that z. B. on the armature 22 and is also guided in the slots 6 of the contact bracket 1, but otherwise works exactly as described above.
Such an arrangement has the advantage that one has more freedom in the dimensioning of the two armatures and that they can be better adapted to the various requirements of a switching armature and a drop armature. With this separation of the two armatures, the separate overcurrent armature can be dispensed with if the arrangement is made so that the impact armature actuates the de-energizing device of the switching magnet on the first part of its stroke so that when it hits the contact bracket 1, it is no longer against the holding force of the Shift solenoid must work.
