Fig. 3 ist der Grundriss einer zweiten Ausführungsform.

Safety lock for powder, cigarette cans etc. like
There are already known closures for containers of various types that have two independent latches that must be operated simultaneously when the lid of the container (the opposite side when ironing) is to be released. The known closures of this type are now relatively complicated and must, if they are to fulfill their purpose, be produced with extreme precision. The closure according to the invention, on the other hand, is simple, cheap to manufacture and can easily be installed in any container.
The simplification and improvement essentially consists in the fact that two independent latches, which can be connected to one another by a spring, cooperate with a two-sided hook attached to the lid of the container. The hook is held in place until both locking parts are not activated at the same time.
The figures show two embodiments of the closure according to the invention.
Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of the closure and Fig. 2 is a plan view of the same installed in a container. Fig. 3 is a plan view of a second embodiment.
According to Fig. 1, the locking strips 1 and 2 have noses. 3 and 5 holding a two-sided hook 11 attached to the lid of the container. The sides of this hook 4 press the lugs when the lid is pressed down. 3 and 5 to the side, whereupon they snap shut and hold the hook until the hook is not released by pressing the two locking strips 1 and 2 against each other at the same time. The closure strips can either be designed to be resilient or a helical spring 9 or the like can be arranged which pulls the two closure strips against one another.
The stops 5 serve to limit the smallest distance between the two lugs 3 and 5 from one another. The stops 8 prevent the locking strips from emerging from the can when only one locking strip is actuated. The lugs 6 and 7 on the locking strips are used to fasten the spring 9.
FIG. 3 shows the outline of a round can with a closure according to FIG. 1, in which the closure strips are connected to one another by a resilient arch.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Safety lock for powder, cigarette cans, etc. The like. With two mutually independent closure parts, characterized in that the lugs of the closure parts hold a two-sided hook (11) attached to the lid of the container from both sides and mutually support one another.
