Antenne mit Reflektorspiegel.

<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Antenna with reflector mirror.
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Another improvement can be achieved. if you choose the antenna complex like that. that its radiation diagram TI1 is adapted to the mirror, d. This means that the angle M, which limits its radiation without a mirror, is approximately equal to the angle at which the mirror is seen from the antenna system. This is indicated in FIG. 3. Here, for example, the straightening system consists of
EMI2.1
whose solid angle corresponds to the solid angle at which the mirror 1 appears from the antenna system.
With this arrangement, the auxiliary reflector, which is otherwise used in a dipole with a mirror and which is placed behind the dipole, is unnecessary.
It is recommended to take into account the rotation of the plane of polarization or the elliptical polarization of the waves reflected by the mirror. design the antenna system so that it can simultaneously receive or transmit different polarized waves; this can be achieved 7. B. by arranging two crossed dipoles or dipole systems.
To compensate for the effect of the phase differences in the oscillation state of the individual dipoles or parts of the antenna system, it is expedient, as is otherwise customary in such systems, to adjust the length of the power lines accordingly. However, the desired compensation can also be brought about by arranging the antenna system not in a plane, but in a correspondingly curved surface, or also in stages.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Antenna arrangement with reflector concave mirror for short and extremely short waves, especially for reception, characterized in that in the combustion chamber of the concave mirror as a receiving or. Radiator system a multiple directional antenna consisting of a plurality of individual antennas connected via power lines, in particular a flat multi-directional antenna, is arranged.
