  Handle for photographic cameras.

The present invention relates to a handle for all types of photographic cameras, that is, both for single-image and for moving-image apparatus.

The previous handles for photographic cameras rested on the outside of the housing even when not in use and therefore always protruded slightly from the camera. They could easily be damaged this way or you could get caught with these handles.

The present invention avoids these disadvantages in that the carrying handle is designed to be retractable into the camera housing. To avoid protruding edges and corners, the
Advantageously, design the handle so that it adapts to the shape of the housing in the lowered state.

In order to prevent the handle from falling out when not in use, devices must be provided that hold the handle in the recessed position. This can e.g. B. can be achieved in that the bracket of the handle engages resiliently in the recess.

In order to bring the bracket from its recessed position into the position of use, levers or lugs can be attached to the handles, which allow it to be lifted out of the recess.

In the figures, an embodiment of a handle according to the invention, as it is, for. B. is attached to a box camera is shown.

1 shows a top view of a camera with a handle according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows the handle arrangement according to FIG. 1 in section along the line.-B, and the like. between the position of use, and FIG. 3 shows a section along the line C-D in the sunk state. Fig. 4 shows a section along line J.-jB in the sunk state.

1 is the camera housing, 2 a corrugated strip attached to it, 3 the handle of the handle, 4 a spring connected to the handle, 5 noses attached to the handle of the handle, which snap into the recess at 6 when the handle is folded in and from the eyelets there 6 are held in place with a spring. 7 is a lever that allows the bracket to be lifted out of the recess. In order to adapt the handle to the shape of the camera, it is provided with the same corrugation as the camera.
