Electric bell.
The invention relates to the construction of an electrical bell and aims to make its construction as compact as possible and to simplify that which is subject to wear
To design parts in such a way that a reliable function is ensured during use and wear and tear is reduced to a minimum. This purpose is achieved in particular by the fact that the armature is stored in the base plate of the device in a simple manner and the special design of the armature ensures its proper functioning. Further details of the bell system designed according to the invention will be described with reference to the drawing.
The bell according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 of the drawing in front and side views, while FIGS. 3 and 4 illustrate sections along the lines I-B and C-D in FIG.
The base plate 1 is made in one piece with the plate 2 which is perpendicular to it and to which the coils 3, 4 are attached. At the upper edge, the plate 2 carries a tab 5 which is also made in one piece and has a substantially triangular shape and has a hole 6 through which the screw used to fasten the housing cover passes.
The bell cup carrier 17 is also made in one piece with the base plate 1. The anchor 7 carrying the hammer or clapper 8 is widened towards its point of deflection and carries two pins 9, 10 made from one piece with it, of which the lower 10 engages in an opening in the base plate 1, while the upper 9 through an opening in a tab 11 of a bracket or arm 12 attached to the base plate 1 engages. The anchor is guided on the one hand through the tab 11 and on the other hand through the base plate in such a way that it cannot perform any vibrations perpendicular to the base plate. An angle piece 1.3 is made from one piece with the bracket or arm 12 and the vertical part of this angle piece serves as an abutment for one end of the armature spring 14.
The base plate also supports the contact carrier 15, which is square and sits in a square recess in the insulating disk 16 embedded in the base plate, so that the contact carrier cannot rotate.
It is immediately evident that the construction of the bell system described results in a very compact and simple construction which enables a relatively cheap production. The construction also allows the use of a housing made of any material, e.g. B. made of wood or Bakelite, without this would result in any construction difficulties.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Electrical bell, characterized in that in the base plate (1) on which the coil carrier (2), the contact carrier (15), the abutment (1, for the armature spring (14) and the bell cup carrier (17) sits, the the anchor (7) carrying the hammer or clapper is mounted directly.
