In the exemplary embodiment, the drawing shows an apparatus suitable for carrying out the method according to the invention. Fig. 1 is the side view, Fig. 2 is the plan view of the same.
The device consists of two containers, a fuel container 1 and an oil container 2.
Depending on the outside temperature, the container 1 is filled with gasoline (up to about -100 C), light gasoline (below -100 C), etc., the container 2 with the aforementioned special oil with a low pour point. The upper part of the two containers is each filled with air; the two air spaces are connected to one another by the line 4. The containers are advantageous on the control panel. 3 attached. An air pump 5 operated by hand or by a motor presses the air through the pipes 6, 7 to the pipe -1 and through this into the two containers 1, 2, so that the liquids in both containers are pressurized. Another line 8 also guides the pumped-in air into the upper part of the auxiliary carburetor 9.
Since a direct connection between the upper air space of the containers 1, 2 and the

at an early stage as an air reservoir for the subsequent generation of the fuel gas-air mixture.
The auxiliary or starting gasifier 9 is screwed into the intake pipe 10 at any point, in any case behind the throttle valve, and is used for the finest nebulization of both the liquid fuel and the special oil. The supply of fuel from the containers takes place through line 11, that of the oil through line 12. The supply is regulated by valves, the valve rods 1, 3 and 14 of which are raised when opened in the manner described later

is raised or lowered in time with the rods 1. 3 or 14.
The duration of the supply of the fuel gas-air mixture can be regulated in various ways. In the exemplary embodiment, the angle lever 16 which controls the valve rods 1, 3 and 15 and is rotatably mounted on a bracket 22 on the carburetor is actuated by a wire 17. For the purpose of lifting the valve rods mentioned, i.e. opening the valves and introducing the mixture into the auxiliary carburetor, the button 18 is pulled in the direction of the arrow I, whereby the angle lever 16 is rotated in the direction of the arrow and the nut 15 ′ and by means of the projection 17 so that the valve rod 15 and by means of the spine end 18 'the nut 1. 3' and thus the valve rod 1. 3 lifts.
The compression spring 19, which is supported on the one hand against the arm 16 ′ of the angle lever 16 and on the other hand against a bearing block 20 provided on the carburetor housing, tries to bring the angle lever 16 back into its position leading the rods 13, 15 into the closed position. The interposed glycerine brake 21 now delays the return of the angle lever to the rest position by slowing down the return movement of the wire pull 17. The same purpose can e.g. B. can also be achieved by means of a thermostat, which gradually blocks the air and fuel supply to the starter carburetor as the temperature rises, thereby turning it off.
On the carburetor there is a bearing bracket 22 with an adjustable stop tube 24, which is set in the factory depending on the type of vehicle

single start required mixture is precisely defined. The amount of air pumped into the containers 1, 2 can be selected to be of different sizes; at a lower temperature, more air is advantageously pumped in. to increase the amount of the finished fuel-air mixture fed to the engine. If the air supplied by the containers 1, 2 is exhausted during the time during which the auxiliary carburetor is working, additional air can be sucked into the auxiliary carburetor through an auxiliary valve 24 ′.
The supply of the oil into the cylinder is regulated by means of the wire 25, which actuates the angle lever 26. Here, too, the wire pull 25 is actuated by the button 27 and the return of the angle lever 26, which is under the pressure of the spring 28, to its rest position is delayed by a braking device 29. When the angle lever 26 is actuated, oil and air are fed into the carburetor and these, finely atomized by the nozzle 30, are fed into the intake pipe 10 and through this into the cylinder.
The device described works as follows: In the event of a low outside temperature, air is pumped into the container by means of the air pump 5 after the end of a journey before the engine is switched off and the wire pull 25 is actuated by means of the button 18, whereby the valve rods 14 due to the rotation of the angle lever 26 and 15 are raised and the oil and air supply to the auxiliary carburetor 9 is released. The compressed special oil is finely atomized in the auxiliary carburetor and fed through the intake line to the cylinders, where it mixes with the oil located there and lowers its pour point, so that the electric starter pulls through the engine quickly enough when the engine is next down, even if the engine is completely cold.
At the next start, air is first pressed into containers 1 and 2 by means of the air pump, then the button 18 is pulled out and the angle lever 16 is rotated by means of the wire pull 17, whereby the valve rods J. 3 and 15 are raised and air and fuel into the auxiliary carburetor 9, from which it is finely atomized in the correct mixing ratio, which has been set by adjusting the adjusting screws 13 'and 15', into the intake pipe 10 and then into the cylinder. This extremely ignitable mixture is fed in until the engine has warmed up accordingly.
The action of the spring 19 retracting the angle lever and thus the valve rods 13 and 15 into the closed position is reduced

the glycerine brake 21 is delayed. The duration of the delay can be adjusted by a corresponding control device on the glycerine brake. The heated engine is finally fed by the main carburetor and the auxiliary carburetor is ineffective until the next start.
