Fig. 3 zeigt eine Draufsicht auf eine Vorrichtung.

Device to facilitate monetary transactions, especially with hard money.
The invention relates to a device which significantly facilitates money transactions when taking in and issuing hard currency in particular. The devices and aids for monetary transactions currently mainly in use have the particular drawback that one has to grasp the plural or singular coins with the fingers or swipe the coin amount with one hand into the other. These manipulations are extremely cumbersome and time-consuming and therefore make it difficult to process payment transactions quickly.
Even the previously known devices and aids for storing hard money and banknotes, such as money bowls, cash drawers with departments and the like. Like., are not suitable for the satisfaction of the modern efforts for rapid processing of payment transactions. Money bowls u. Like. Not quickly protected against the intervention of strangers. Finally, it is not possible with the previous aids for storing hard and paper money to keep these aids quickly in a burglar-proof location.
In order to at least facilitate the taking or the spending of hard money, were already

a sliding surface is connected to one or more output organs, under which see a pocket for inserting the hand held under the output organ. By pushing in and moving your hand down, the coin plate is tilted. These coin plates have the disadvantage that the pocket located under the dispensing organ takes away the possibility for the recipient of the money to freely unfold his hand held under the dispensing organ and to adjust and shape it correctly with reference to the dispensing organ.
The purpose of the invention is to eliminate all of the disadvantages cited above and to create a device which largely facilitates monetary transactions. According to the invention, this is achieved in that a space free on both sides and in the depth direction is provided under the output member or members for any unfolding and shaping of the hand held under the output member.
Exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawing. An embodiment of the device and in the form of a tiltable coin plate is shown in FIGS. Fig. 1 shows the device in a longitudinal section along line 1--1 of FIG. 2. In FIG. 2, the device is shown in a section along line 11-11 of FIG. Fig. 3 shows a plan view of a device.
In Fig. 4, the housing of the device is shown in longitudinal section. Fig. 5 illustrates the handling and operation of the device. 6-9, a second embodiment of a device according to the invention is shown in the form of a cash register. 6 and 7 show the device in cross section with the cover removed (FIG. 6) and with the cover on (FIG. 7), FIG. 8 shows the device with the cover removed in a front view and FIG. 9 in a plan view.
The device according to FIGS. 1-5 consists of an organ 1 serving to place the money and two output organs 2, 3 arranged on both sides of this organ, which are connected to the receiving element 1 by sliding surfaces 4, 5. Under the output members 2, *) 'cavities 7, 8 are provided for maintaining the hand. These cavities are free on both sides and in the depth direction, so that the recipient has the opportunity to freely unfold and freely shape his supported hand.
The organs 1, 2, 3 are formed into a coin plate of the shape shown, for example, in FIGS. 1-3, which is mounted in the side plates 12 of a housing 13 so that it can be tilted about pins 10, 11 to both sides removable
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Bottom of the housing 13 to enable the coin plate to be mounted in the housing 13. On its underside, the coin plate has recesses 17, 18, on the inclined side walls of which springs 20, 21 are attached. These springs are braced with their free resilient ends on adjusting screws 25, 26 which are screwed into the housing 13 and can be adjusted from the outside.
The springs 20, 21 form means which ensure an automatic return of the plate from the tilted position to the horizontal rest position. The tension of the springs can be regulated by the adjusting means 25, 26. In order to prevent the coin plate from tilting back too quickly and oscillating, a device is provided which serves to dampen the tilting movement. In the exemplary embodiment shown, this device consists of a spring 30 which is fastened to the bottom 1. j and which grinds with its free resilient end on a braking surface 32 of the coin plate.
The braking surface 32 is provided on a rib 33 arranged between the two recesses 17, 18 and runs in an arc which is eccentric with respect to the axis of rotation 10, 11 of the coin plate, such that the effective radii of the Braking surface arc 32 get bigger and bigger. The eccentric design of the braking surface 32 is thus such that the dampening effect increases as the inclination of the coin plate increases.
On the top of the coin plate there are also means for depressing the same with the thumb; In the exemplary embodiment shown, these are arranged on both sides of the output members 2, 3 and consist of buttons 40, 41 and 42, 43.

the customer on the support element 1. The person collecting the amount holds his hand under the output member 2 or 3 facing him and at the same time presses the coin plate down with the thumb of this hand. This puts the coin plate in an inclined position and the previously placed money slides into the hand that is being held. When the coin plate is released, it swings back into the horizontal rest position due to the tensioned spring 20 or: 21.
This return movement is dampened by the pressure of the spring 30 on the braking surface 32. Any change given can also be taken by the customer in exactly the same simple manner.
The device is equally well suited for right-handed and left-handed people, since the actuating buttons 40, 41 and 42, 43 are provided on both sides of the output members 2, 3.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 6-9, a plurality of receiving elements 50-57 and output elements 60-67 arranged next to one another in a row are provided, which are separated from one another by walls 70-76. The receiving members 50-57 are trough-shaped and are connected to the associated output members 60-67 by a rising sliding surface 80. The receiving organs 50-57 with their output organs 60-67 and the partition walls 70-76 form a body 82 which is arranged at a distance a from a base plate 84. This arrangement creates a cavity 85 under the body 82 which is used to receive bank notes 86.
The space 85 is divided into several compartments 88-91 by partitions 87. 92 is the rear wall of the device, 93 a cavity running under the dispensing organs 60-67, which is used for maintaining the hand. A cover is designated by 94, by means of which the device can be covered (FIG. 7). The cover 94 can be locked to the base plate 84 by a lock 95. The entire device with its base plate 84 is removably attached to a base 98 by means of detachable and lockable attachment means 96, 97. In the present exemplary embodiment, the fastening means 96 consist of a bayonet lock, the fastening means 97 consist of a lock. The pad 98 is secured by screws 99 in place of the device.
The partition walls 70-76 are arranged at different distances from one another, corresponding to the frequency of the coin values for which the trough-shaped receiving members 50-57 are intended. The partition walls 87 are also arranged at different distances from one another, corresponding to the dimensions of the bank notes to be inserted into the compartments 88-91.
The handling of the device can be seen from FIG. For example, if one of the coins located in the receiving member 50 is to be removed, one hand is held under the dispensing member 60 while the finger of the other hand grips the coin and moves it over the sliding surface 80 until it falls into the hand being held. This is exactly how it is done when coins of other values are to be removed. If the device is to be closed, it is only necessary to insert the cover 94 and lock it by means of the lock 95. After unlocking the lock 97 and releasing the locks 96, the entire device can be removed from the base 98 and kept in a burglar-proof location.
The devices described above and shown in the drawing to facilitate monetary transactions, especially with hard money, of course only represent exemplary embodiments of the invention. The devices and their details can also be changed within the scope of the invention.
