Versclussdeckel für Konservendosen od. dgl.
Die Erfindung betrifft einen Versehlussdeekel für Konservendosen od. dgl. mit aus dem Mantel des Deckels ausgestanzten, unter den Rand der Konservendose greifenden Zungen und besteht darin, dass die beiden ungefähr parallel zueinander verlaufenden Längsränder der Zungen nach dem Deckelinnern zu aufgebogen sind, so dass entlang der beiden Ränder der Zungen rippenartige, die Widerstandsfähigkeit der Zungen erhöhende Versteifungen gebildet werden.
Die bisher bekannten Verschlussdeckel mit aus dem Mantel des Deckels ausgestanzten, unter den Rand der Konservendose greifenden Zungen hatten den Nachteil, dass sie dem beim Kochen des Doseninhaltes in der Dose auftretenden Druck nicht standhielten. Dieser Nachteil wird durch die Erfindung beseitigt. Überdies besitzt der Verschlussdeckel nach der Erfindung noch den Vorteil, dass er auch zum Schliessen gebrauchter Konservendosen benutzt werden kann, ohne dass eine Veränderung an der Dose erforderlich ist.
Die Erfindung ist in der Zeichnung in einer beispielsweisen Ausführungsform dargestellt und zeigt Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf den Deckel, Fig. 2 einen Schnitt durch den Deckel, Fig. 3 eine schaubildliche Ansicht eines Deckelteiles in vergrössertem Massstabe und Fig. 4 eine mit dem Deckel verschlossene Konservendose.
Der Deckel besteht aus einem ebenen Mittelteil 1, der durch eine nach dem Deckelinnern hineingedrückte Sicke oder Vertiefung 2 begrenzt wird. Die ringförmige Vertiefung 2 geht in einen kegel-

In der ringförmigen Nut des Randes 6 liegt ein Gummiring 7. Der Mantel 8 des Deckels besitzt Zungen 9, die ein wenig nach dem Innern des Deckels gebogen sind und unter den umgebördelten Rand 10 der Konservendose fassen. Die beiden ungefähr parallel zueinander verlaufenden Längsränder 11, 12 der Zungen 9 sind nach dem Deekelinnern zu aufgebogen, so dass entlang dieser beiden Zungenränder rippenartige, die Widerstandsfähigkeit der Zungen 9 erhöhende Versteifungen gebildet werden.
Der Deckel kann ausser für Konservendosen auch zum Verschliessen von Milchkannen, Blechkanistern, Ölbehältern usw. verwendet werden.
