Mähmaschine.
Die Erfindung bildet eine Mähmaschine für Getreide und Gras, bei welcher unterhalb des Schneidwerkes ein Schutzblech vorgesehen ist, welches beim Auftreffen auf ein Hindernis einen in der Hand des Führers liegenden Griff betätigt und so dem Führer das Vorhandensein des Hindernisses anzeigt, der durch rasches Anheben des Schneidwerkzeuges dieses vor Schaden bewahrt.
In der Zeichnung ist beispielsweise eine motorisch betriebene Mähmaschine mit dem Schutzblech gemäss der Erfindung in Seitenansicht dargestellt.
Auf einem Rahmen 1 ist das beispielsweise aus rotierenden Messern bestehende Schneidwerk 2,3 sowie dessen Antrieb angeordnet, welch letzterer bei dem dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel durch eine kleine eingebaute Brennkraftmaschine 9 nebst Vorgelege bewirkt wird.
Ein hinter der Maschine hergehender Mann bewegt deren Steuerung sowie die Überwachung des Getriebes mittels Handhebel, Gestänge, Drahtzug u. dgl. in an sich bekannter Weise. Um zu verhindern, dass das Schneidwerk 2, 3 beim Auflaufen auf Hindernisse, wie Steine, Maulwurfshaufen u. dgl., Schaden leidet, kann am Gestell 5 in bekannter Weise ein Gleitorgan 11 vorgesehen sein, welches beim Auflaufen auf ein Hindernis das Schneidwerk selbsttätig hebt.
Erfindungsgemäss ist unterhalb des Schneidwerkes auch ein Schutzblech 12 vorgesehen, welches beim Auflaufen auf ein Hindernis mit Hilfe eines Verbindungsgestänges einen in der Hand des Führers liegenden Griff 13 betätigt und so dem Führer das Vorhandensein des Hindernisses anzeigt, der durch sofortiges Aufkippen des Rahmens gleichzeitig das Schneidwerk anhebt, welches sodann über das Hindernis ohne Schaden hinweggleitet.
