household refrigerator.
In known refrigerators that work with the evaporation of a liquefied refrigerant, the cold generator (evaporator) is arranged within the storage space for the food and drinks to be cooled. This installation of the evaporator in the cold room has the disadvantage that the usable space for the goods to be cooled is reduced considerably and the temperature is distributed unevenly over the cold room. Attempts have already been made to eliminate these disadvantages by placing the evaporator in the form of a pipe coil or a container around the outside of the refrigerated goods container and permanently connected to it, e.g. B. was welded.
However, if such firmly interconnected containers are exposed to high temperatures, such as those required when enamelling the refrigerated goods container, there is a risk that the containers will warp as a result of the stresses occurring at these temperatures and that the connection points and the evaporator itself will be adversely affected. When the evaporator is subsequently checked for pressure resistance, etc., a lot of rejects must therefore always be expected.
In contrast to this, the invention consists in the fact that the cold generator (evaporator) consists of a double-walled vessel produced for itself, which is pushed onto the outside of the refrigerated goods container.
The evaporator can now be tested on its own and is only then combined with the already enamelled refrigerated goods container. This makes the manufacture of a household refrigerator essential

cannot be adversely affected during the enamelling of the refrigerated goods container. The loose connection also allows easy replacement of the individual evaporators. If it is necessary to work with cold storage, the evaporator is expediently combined with the container for the cold storage medium (brine) to form a structural unit.
In the drawing, the invention is shown in two exemplary embodiments; u. FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through a refrigerator with a device for making ice, FIG. 2 shows a longitudinal section through the cooling container of a refrigerator, which is combined with an evaporator.
In the refrigerator a are bund c two nested containers that enclose the cooling space d. A further container e is inserted into the outer container b, the jacket of which is corrugated in a helical shape and encloses with the inner surface of the outer container a winding channel t ′ extending from a winding channel t ′ to the other end of the container b. The liquefied refrigerant is introduced into this channel, which is wound around the outside of the cooling space cl, by means of a line g, while at the opposite end of the spiral channel f it enters a line h which leads to a compressor (not shown).
The space i between the two nested containers b and e is filled with a cold storage liquid (brine). An insulating layer j serves to protect against heat loss. The cooling space d is closed to the outside by a door k, which is also provided with an insulating layer. The cooling space d is completely free for the installation of chilled goods, which are cooled evenly from all sides. At a temperature of 5 to 8 C inside the cooling space c there is no risk of the inner wall of the container c icing up. Ice is produced in a special cooling device m which is provided outside the cooling space d and can be switched on and off as required.
Like the main cooling device, it consists of two nested containers n and o and a winding channel k for the cold liquid, which is expediently formed by a corrugated pipe. The

Containers K, o enclose a space q in which ice cells r are inserted. The freezer w is e.g. B. connected to the refrigerator a by means of straps r1 and can be exposed to the outside through a lid. s to be completed.
The cold liquid comes from the condenser t, which is arranged on the rear wall of the refrigerator a and flows via a reducing valve M into the line which is connected to the viewing channel p of the freezer m. After the refrigerant has been used to form ice, it leaves channel 1) through line g and flows into evaporator f of cooling tank a in order to cool the goods placed in room d.
The freezer ri and the refrigerator compartment d can just as well be connected next to one another instead of one behind the other, i.e. H. Use a separate branched refrigerant flow for each device.
A particularly cheap and easy-to-manufacture embodiment is obtained if the cooling containers b, c and 'n, 0 are given a cylindrical shape with a circular cross-section.
The evaporator according to FIG. 2 differs from that of FIG. 1 only in that it is pushed onto the container surrounding the cooling space. The evaporator consists of two tubes M, x pushed into one another, of which the outer w is corrugated and with the inner tube x again forms a screw channel f for the refrigerant to be evaporated. Both tubes are inserted into a third tube y, the space z between the tubes 10 and y being filled with brine. The tubes w, x, y form a unit of their own and are pushed as such onto the container c, which encloses the cooling space. g, h is the to or. Discharge for the refrigerant.
The tubes w, x, y form a unit which in itself, i.e. H. is manufactured and tested independently of the manufacture of the refrigerated goods container c,

might not need to be involved, such as enamelling.
