Income device for coins or the like.
There are known devices for collecting coins, in which the coins, after passing the inlet chute and an appropriately provided coin validator, arrive in a stacking chute, in which they are kept visible from the outside until the coins get into the storage container provided below by actuating a release mechanism. When the coins are removed from the storage container, there is no control over how many coins actually got into the container during operation of the device.
The invention now relates to a device for collecting coins, in which, according to the invention, a counter is provided which is under the influence of a constant driving force, the triggering of which is carried out to advance the counter for each coin passing the insertion channel. Care has been taken that each coin is only counted once.
A coin counting device without constant driving force is already known in which the counter is actuated by a lever which is swiveled out immediately from the coin each time the coin is inserted and causes the counter to be indexed via a lever linkage. In contrast, the invention has the advantage that the coin only needs to be used to control the counter circuit, but does not also have to provide the driving force for the counter.
The subject of the invention is intended in particular for ingestion devices such. B. for the Kleinbzw. Small zone tariff, can be used, but can also be used for all vending machines or slot machines.
The drawing shows an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention, u. between FIG. 1 in a side view and in FIG. 2 in a view from the front.
In the outer sheet metal housing (not shown) of the collection device, a frame is provided which consists of the side parts 1, 1 and the cross parts 2, 2 and is arranged in the vicinity of the coin insertion channel 3. An axle 4 is mounted in this frame, which is coupled by means of friction disks 5, 5 to a gear wheel 6 which meshes with a pinion 7 of a shaft 8. The pinion 7 is firmly connected to a ratchet wheel 9, in which a ratchet tooth 10 of a wheel 11 on the axis 8 which is toothed on the edge can engage. A resilient and stationary tooth 12 interacts with the toothing of the wheel 11. A roller 11 ″, on which a part of a torsion spring 13 is wound and fastened at 14, is firmly connected to the wheel 11.
The other part of the spring 13 is fixed at 15 on a roller 16 which can rotate loosely on the roller 8. Since the roller 11 ″ is only loosely rotatably arranged on the axis 8, both rollers can rotate against each other. Exactly the same applies to the pinion 7 and the toothed wheel 11, which is firmly connected to the roller 11 ″. With the roller 16, a gear 17 is connected, which meshes with a pinion 18, which on the shaft 19 z. B. is wedged, which is connected via a coupling 20 to the counter 21 for rotation. The pinion 18 is connected to a toothed wheel 22 which cooperates with the ratchet teeth 23, 24 of a forked double-armed lever 28 rotatably mounted at 25 and provided with a lateral extension 26 protruding into the coin channel 3.
The lever 28 is under the action of a spring 29 which tries to hold it in its normal position shown in FIG. 2, in which the attachment protrudes through the recess into the range of motion of the coins 30, the lever 28 resting against the stop 27. A compression spring 31 is provided on the axle 4 and constantly presses the friction disks 5, 5 against the gearwheel 6. The axle 4 carries a lever 32 on the outside, which rests against a stop 33 in its rest position. This enables a spring M either on the lever 32 on the one hand and on one
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Pin 35 on the other hand z. B. the housing or, as shown, is attached to a pin 36 of the friction washer 5 facing the spring.
This latter pin 36 is also used, as will be explained in more detail, for
Removal of the bottom 37 of the stacking shaft 3b. The bottom 37 is designed as an angularly bent part of a sheet metal piece 38 which is rotatably mounted in the form of a two-armed lever at 39 and protrudes with an extension 40 into the range of motion of the pin 36. The lateral extension 26 is expediently designed in the form of a desk with an inclination into the interior of the channel, whereby the counting of each coin as it passes through the channel takes place in the manner described in the following paragraph.
But even if several coins rush through the channel in quick succession, this is the correct count
Coins guaranteed, since the approach 26 engages in the gap between the two coins after the first coin has passed and must therefore also be pushed aside by the second coin.
Each time the lever 32 is pressed down, apart from the removal of the bottom 37 from its position closing the shaft, the lower end of the stacking shaft 3b is driven by the gear wheel 6 by means of the friction wheels 5, 5, which are constantly pressed against the side surfaces by the spring 31 of the gear 6 are pressed, and by means of the gears 7, 9 and 11 the spring 13 is pulled up. It acts as a clockwork spring for the counter. When pulling up the spring the end 15 of the same is held, u. zw. Because the ratchet 24 engages in the wheel 22 and thus this and the gears 18, 17 and the roller 16 blocked. The toothed wheel 11 ratchets under the resilient tooth 12.
When the lever 32 returns to its starting position (as a result of the spring 34), the ratchet 9 ratchets under the pawl 10. Each coin 30 passing through the channel pushes the projection 26 in the direction of the arrow PI (FIG. 2) to the side, whereby the lever 28 releases a tooth of the wheel 22 so that the spring 13 controls the counter over the gears 17 and 18 and the axis 19 indexes in such a way that the number of the counter 21 increases by “1”. The teeth 23 and 24 alternately engage in the gaps between the teeth of the wheel 22.
Immediately after passing the coin 30, the lever 28 assumes its rest position under the influence of the spring 29. The coin and the lever release therefore act like a relay, while the latent power of the clockwork moves the counter. The coin itself therefore does not need to apply any force to advance the counter 21.
Since the triggering of the bottom 37 is carried out by the driver at each zone boundary, which would result in the risk of the spring 13 being pulled over if the number of coins inserted is low, the friction disks J are provided which, when the spring 18 is fully open, are located on the walls of the gear 6 slide without its actuation.
In the device described above, an element is also provided in the coin channel which prevents the coins from flowing back when the cashier device falls. This organ is designed as a spring 41, attached to the wall of the channel 3 and has a hook-shaped tab 42 which is directed obliquely downward and protrudes in a recess 43 through the channel. Each coin falling through the channel 3 presses the flap 42 to the side so that the coin can enter the stacking shaft unhindered. In the opposite direction, however, the tab (the nose) 42 forms a barrier for the coin.
