Ringventil.
Für Ringplattenventile werden als Federbelastung im Ventilfänger untergebrachte Schraubenfedern verwendet, welcher Anordnung der Nachteil grosser Bauhöhe anhaftet. Daher haben ringförmige Blattfedern Verwendung gefunden, die an einer Stelle aufgeschlitzt, sodann aufgebogen und paarweise, um 1800 versetzt, eingebaut werden, was aber erfahrungsgemäss eine etwas unsymmetrische (einseitige) Ventilplattenbelastung ergibt. Ungeschlitzte mit mehreren sinusartigen Wellen versehene Federringe sind bei kleinerem Durchmesser zu steif und brechen leicht.
Diese Übelstände beseitigen ungeschlitzte Ringfedern, die erfindungsgemäss um einen Zylindermantel, dessen Erzeugende parallel zur Ringebene liegt, gebogen werden. Fig. 1 stellt eine Draufsicht, Fig. 2 und Fig. 3 Seitenschnitt, Fig. 4 ein im Ventil eingebautes Federpaar dar. Die Hohlseiten der beiden Federn sind einander zugekehrt. Die aufgebogenen Enden der oberen Feder legen sich in die Höhlung der unteren Feder hinein und umgekehrt, so dass ein Scheuern der harten Federn auf Ventilplatte oder Fänger vermieden wird.

For ring plate valves, coil springs housed in the valve catcher are used as spring loading, which arrangement has the disadvantage of a large overall height. For this reason, annular leaf springs have been used, which are slit open at one point, then bent up and installed in pairs, offset by 1800, which, however, according to experience results in a somewhat asymmetrical (one-sided) valve plate loading. Unslotted spring washers with several sinusoidal waves are too stiff with a smaller diameter and break easily.
These inconveniences eliminate unslotted annular springs, which according to the invention are bent around a cylinder jacket whose generatrix is parallel to the plane of the ring. Fig. 1 shows a plan view, Fig. 2 and Fig. 3 side section, Fig. 4 shows a pair of springs built into the valve. The hollow sides of the two springs face each other. The bent-up ends of the upper spring lie in the cavity of the lower spring and vice versa, so that the hard springs are prevented from rubbing against the valve plate or catcher.
