   Dieses in der Zeichnung   mit bezeichnete Steuergitter   ist um zwei in der Quetschstelle angebrachte Haltedrähte 14 gewickelt. Am oberen Teil dieser Haltedrähte befinden sich zwei isolierende Körper 15, z. B. Glasperlen, an denen ausserdem ein Haltedraht 16 befestigt ist. An letzterem ist bei 17 mittels eines Befestigungsteils 18 die Kathode 19 befestigt. Diese Kathode besteht aus einem beispielsweise aus Nickel hergestellten Kathodenkörper, der mit einer elektronenemittierenden Schicht überzogen ist. Die Kathode wird mittels eines Heizkörpers, z. B. eines aus Molybdän oder Wolfram hergestellten hufeisenförmig gebogenen Drahts, erhitzt, der gegebenenfalls unter Zwischenfügung von Isoliermaterial im Inneren des Kathodenkörpers angeordnet ist. 



   Die hier beschriebene Erfindung kann bei allen Entladungsröhren Anwendung finden, in denen ein Schirmgitter benutzt wird.
