Absetzplatte für elektrische Bügeleisen u. dgl.
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Absetzplatte für elektrische Bügeleisen u. dgl. mit einer Schaltvor- riehtung, die beim Absetzen des Bügeleisens durch dieses betätigt wird und die Kontakte des Bügeleisenheizkörpers und Stromzuführungskontakte der Absetzplatte leitend überbrückt. Die Erfindung ist darin gelegen, dass die Kontakte des Heizkörpers von einem Gehäuse umschlossen sind, welches bei auf die Absetzplatte gestelltem Bügeleisen die Zugangsöffnung zur Schaltvorrichtung abdeckt, so dass während der Heizung des Eisens sämtliche stromführende Teile der Vorrichtung vollkommen verschalt sind.
In der Zeichnung ist eine Ausführungsform der Absetzplatte in Fig. 1 im Längsschnitt bei aufgesetztem Bügeleisen, in Fig. 2 in Draufsicht auf die Absetzplatte bei teilweise im Schnitt ersichtlicher Schaltvorrichtung und in Fig. 3 mit offener Schaltvorriehtung im Vertikalschnitt dargestellt.
Die vorteilhaft durch Giessen hergestellte Absetzplatte besteht aus zwei Teilen 1, 2, die in der Längs richtung gegeneinander verstellbar sind, so dass die Absetzplatte für Bügeleisen jeder Grösse verwendbar ist. Zwecks Längenänderung der Absetzplatte greift der Teil 1 mit zwei festen Schraubenbolzen 3 in Längsschlitze 4 des Teiles 2 ein und wird durch Anziehen der Schraubenmuttern 6 gegen den Teil 1

ist an ihrem einen Ende mittels eines Bolzens 10 an dem Rahmen 11 der Schaltvorrichtung schwingbar befestigt und wird durch eine Zugfeder 12 in Normallage gehalten. In dieser findet die Platte 9 an der Rahmenwand 13 einen Anschlag und nimmt eine horizontale Lage ein.
Hiebei befinden sich die senkrecht abstehenden Kontaktbolzen 8 mit ihrem unteren Ende vor der Schenkelöffnung zweier U-förmiger Kontaktfedern 14, die durch Schrauben 15 unter Beilage von Winkeln 16 an einer Isolierplatte 17 des Rahmens 11 befestigt sind. Die Winkel 16 sind mit den Kontaktstecker 18 der Absetzplatte verbunden.
Das Bügeleisen weist im Inneren in bekannter Weise den Heizkörper 19 auf, der durch die Kabel 20 an Kontaktbolzen 21 angeschlossen ist. Die Kontaktbolzen 21 stecken fest in einer Isolierplatte 22, die durch ein Gehäuse 23 verschalt und mit diesem an der Rückseite des Bügeleisens befestigt ist. Von dem Schutzgehäuse 23 ragen bloss die Kontaktbolzen 21 heraus, die beim Aufstellen des Bügeleisens auf die Absetzplatte in Öffnungen 24 des Rahmens 11 eingreifen. Hiebei stossen die Kontaktbolzen 21 auf U-förmig gebogene Metallplättchen 25, welche mit den Bolzen 8 mit ihrem Steg in die Platte eingebettet und mit den Bolzen 8 leitend verbunden sind. Durch die Kontaktbolzen 21 wird die Isolierplatte 9 nach unten in die Stellung gemäss Fig. 3 verschwenkt.
Hiebei dringen die Kontaktbolzen 8 zwischen die Schenkel der Kontaktfedern 14 ein, wodurch die leitende Verbindung des Heizkörpers mit den durch ein Kabel an die Lichtleitung angeschlossenen Stromzuführungskontakten 18 hergestellt ist.
Die Schaltvorrichtung ist durch eine an der Absetzplatte angeordnete Deckplatte 26 gegen Berühren mit den Fingern gesichert, und die stromdurchflossenen Kontaktbolzen 21 sind durch das in das Gehäuse hineinragende Rahmenende 11'sowie das an die Deckplatte 26 anschliessende Gehäuse 23 unzugänglich, so dass beim Heizen des Bügeleisens das Gefahrenmoment, mit dem Körper in den Stromkreis zu gelangen, völlig beseitigt ist.
