Die Fig. 1 und 2 zeigen einen solchen Dufthalter in Biskottenform. Die Fig. 2 und 3 veranschaulichen seine Verwendung bei Kannen für Kaffee, Tee od. dgl. Der Dufthalter wird vorteilhaft aus zähelastischem Material, wie Schwammgummi od. dgl., hergestellt. Die beiden Verbreiterungen sind mit den Löchern a und b versehen. In das Loch a wird ein konischer Pfropfen c (Fig. 2) ebenfalls aus Schwammgummi od. dgl. hineingesteckt. Den Teil mit der ovalen Dffnung schiebt man über den Schnabel der Kaffekanne, mit dem Pfropfen auf der andern Seite schliesst man die Schnabelmündung durch Vorbiegen des freien Lappens ab (Fig. 3 und 4). Soll ausgeschenkt werden, so zieht man den Pfropfen aus dem Schnabel und schlägt den Lappen gegen die Gefässwand zurück, wo er infolge der Elastizität des Dufthalters angepresst bleibt.
