 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

It is known to represent the carbon present in organic compounds by a black ball and its tetravalence by four pins of the same length firmly connected to the ball. Tetrahedron models were then introduced to represent the optical isomerism. The first mode of representation cannot express the desmotropy based on intramolecular atomic displacement and the latter cannot express the valences existing between the atoms or atom groups, since the tetrahedra do not contain carbon and the connecting lines of the tetrahedron vertices do not represent valences.

With the method on which the invention is based, it is now possible to represent structures and configurations of organic bodies, regardless of their type. The problem is solved in that the atoms in the form of bodies, e.g. B. balls, different shape, size, color or material, can be attached interchangeably. For this purpose, the bodies have pegs that can be inserted into bores in the auxiliary body, and they also have bores on their surface into which smaller spheres provided with pegs can be plugged in order to symbolize groups of atoms or radicals.

This makes it possible to model the structure and configuration of the desmotropy based on the relative mobility of certain atoms and thus the various tautomeric substances, all of which can be derived from a basic form. The chemical bond between the atoms of the chain, the ring and the lattice is expressed on the auxiliary body by valence lines of various designs.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. A method for the spatial representation of the structure and configuration of organic compounds, characterized in that spheres of various sizes, shapes, colors or materials are detachably attached by means of pegs to an auxiliary body with a recorded bond scheme.
