Elektrischer Heisswasserbereiter.

Electric hot water heater.
The previously known electric hot water storage tanks for use in households have a relatively low connected load and work on the principle of continuous heating of the water content during the night. With the introduction of electric stoves and electrical appliances of all kinds in households, the connected load of individual households has increased considerably; According to the connection conditions of the Association of German Electricity Works, the supply line in apartments with electric stoves must have at least 3x 6 mw. 2.
This cross-section enables current loads of up to 25 amperes, with three-phase current 220 volts a maximum load of up to 9'5 kW. These installation regulations now enable the use of electrical hot water heaters in households with a connected load of up to 9 kilowatts.
The subject of the present invention is a hot water heater with sufficient water content, which is designed in such a way that it can be used firstly as an ordinary hot water storage tank with a low connection value during the night, secondly as an electric bath heater with a high connection value in rapid heating and thirdly as an electric hot water heater with a high connection value for drawing off Hot shower water can work.
As can be seen from the drawing, the water tank a has a vertical tube c) built in, which extends over the entire height of the tank and consists of a material that is as heat-insulating as possible, so that the water tank is divided into two rooms. The electric heating elements c are installed inside this pipe. Depending on the intended use, these are divided into a small connection value for night tank heating and a high connection value for rapid heating. The installed tube b has slots cl and e at the upper and lower ends, the cross sections of which have an empirically determined dimension.
As can be seen from the drawing, the outer water space is connected to the inner water space by a diversion pipe / '. A built-in water shut-off device in the form of a three-way valve / t fulfills a threefold purpose. In position 1 of the three-way tap, water can circulate between the outer and inner space in the event of water temperature differences; Position. '3 only allows cold water to flow into the inner space; position 3 is the cold water supply. ss in the inner and outer space of the container at the same time. The DHW hot water is drained through a pipe that extends to the upper end of the water tank.
The cold water inlet KW is connected at the bottom of the three-way tap. The electric hot water heater, like every one that works on the storage principle, also has a built-in temperature regulator of the known type.
The mode of operation of the electric bath heater is as follows: If you switch on the electric heater with a low connection value, the water content in the inner part of the built-in pipe is heated and rises, can get through the upper slots into the outer cylinder, while at the same time through the lower slots Cold water can be drawn in from the outside space. Through the resulting cycle, the entire water content is slowly evenly heated up to the point where the set temperature switch interrupts the power supply.
If all radiators are switched on and the three-way tap is set so that the cold water only flows into the inner part (position 2), the heated and rising water will immediately exit through the cold water flowing in when the hot water is drained. In this operating mode, the electric bathtub heater can be used as a flow heater for shower purposes. If during the rapid heating up the three-way

If the tap is not open and cold water does not flow in (position 1), the contents of the container are heated up quickly by the circulation of hot water from the inner cylinder into the colder outer cylinder. Should the entire heated water content be taken z.
B. for hot bath preparation, then the three-way tap is to be set so that the cold water flows into the inner and outer room at the same time (position 3), then the heated water will exit from both parts of the room at the same time through the hot water drain pipe.
The essence of the present invention is that an electric hot water heater can be used as an electric hot water storage tank or as an electric instantaneous water heater.
