Tabakausbreiter.

Tobacco spreader.
The invention relates to a tobacco spreader or distributor suitable for distributing cigarette tobacco for automatic packaging machines. In cigarette machines, dip spreading presents fewer difficulties because in these the tobacco is reduced in size by roller cards and in this state can easily be spread onto a cloth and from there it can fall into the tobacco duct of the machine. With cigarette tobacco packets, however, there is one

should be preserved.
This mailing list takes this into account. The tobacco is taken from a handkerchief. by a stationary suction nozzle sucking it against the sieve of a drum provided with a perforated sheet metal wall. After the respective drum parts exit the area of the suction nozzle, a transport cloth stretched against the drum and running at the same time presses the tobacco against it and releases it at that point. where it can fall onto another cloth that leads it to the scales.
To make it easier to bring the tobacco to the drum, grippers are attached which push the tobacco closed without tearing it. These feeders are simple bars and arranged in two rows one behind the other. One row performs a curved movement (flat ellipse) so that it advances the tobacco, while the second row performs a purely up and down movement in order to hold the tobacco back in its advanced position when the first row of feeders is retreating.
In the drawings: FIG. 1 shows the arrangement of the distributor, FIG. 1 shows the drive parts for the feeders in a side view, top view and front view.
Volume 3 brings tobacco. which z. B. is poured out by hand. The

made of brass 2 is stretched. 4 is a suction nozzle which is connected to an exhaustor by means of the connecting pipe 5. The tobacco. which is brought by the belt 3 is pressed against the sieve by suction air because the perforated sheet metal wall allows a suction effect.
The tobacco dust is sucked through the sieve and the tobacco is also cleaned. The drum takes the sucked tobacco with it as it rotates because the opening of the suction nozzle makes up part of the circumference of the cylinder. Before a drum part has left the suction area, the belt 7 comes into effect. This is done by rollers 19, 20 and. M so tensioned that it is between rollers 19 and. 20 is applied against the drum and the tobacco located on it is wedged between the belt and the drum, so that it is carried along with the further rotation of the cylinder.
If the drum part envisaged has come out of the area of the belt 7, the tobacco falls down and arrives on a last conveyor belt 6, which leads it to a channel, '22. via which he arrives at the automatic scales.
The movement of the feeders is achieved in the following way:
The lever 11 can be rotated about the axis 23, while the rod 1. 2 is fixed on the bearing 1U (on a sleeve). The lever 11 also has two eyes for the axes 17 and 1 '. 18 is rotatably mounted and firmly connected to the connecting rod 15. The crank 16 issued by means of the connecting rod 15 of the axis 18 up and down and around the

Axis 23 oscillating movement. In this way, all of the grippers 9 attached to the axis 18 also take part in such a swinging movement. At the upper end of the rod 1.'2 is .. in hinge pin. 37 'attached to which the rod 14 is attached.
This again carries the hinge pin at the other end. '26. on which the rod 13 hangs. The axis / 7 is fixed to this

Lever 13, 14 is guided straight.
The grippers 6 ′ are connected to the axis 17, and thus only perform a pure up and down movement.
Only half of the entire lever system is drawn. the other side is exactly symmetrical to the central axis of the distributor.
