Es sind schon Kachelöfen bekannt, bei denen U-förmige Kacheln verwendet w erden. Lie Erfindung betrifft nun einen solchen Kachelofen und besteht darin, dass jede der übereinanderliegenden Mantelzonen des Ofens nur aus zwei U-förmigen, mit den Schenkeln zusammenstossenden Kacheln besteht.
Zweck der Erfindung ist, den Zusammenbau und Aufbau des Ofens möglichst einfach zu gestalten, so dass er ohne besondere Kenntnisse sowie in geringer Arbeitszeit herstellbar ist und sich daher im Preis niedrig halten lässt.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einem Ausführungsbeispiel in Fig. 1 in Vorderansieht, in Fig. 2 im Querschnitt dargestellt.
Der Ofenmantel ist aus Kacheln zusammengesetzt, die erfindungsgemäss zu je zw eien eine horizontale Mantelzone bilden. Die vorderen Kacheln 1 erstrecken sich über die ganze Vorderfläche und die beiden halben Seitenflächen ; die rückwärtigen Kacheln 2 erstrecken sich über die ganze Rückseite und die restlichen Teile der Seitenflächen. Im Ausführungsbeispiel haben die Kacheln somit in jeder Schichte je die Form eines breiten U, die mit den Schenkeln zusammenstossen und ein geschlossenes horizontales Mantelelement bilden. Die Kacheln werden in bekannter Weise durch Klammern verbunden, die in Löcher 3 eingesetzt sind, welche sich nahe der Schliessfuge in der Kachelwandung befinden.
Den Sicherheitsvorschriften ist Rechnung getragen, indem alle Ecken geschlossen bleiben und an diesen Stellen keine offenen Fugen gebildet werden. Der Ofen wird auf den Fuss 4 aufgesetzt und in kürzester Zeit aufgebaut ; die Zonen mit je zwei Kacheln sind rasch zusammengefügt und erfordern zum Zusammenbau und Aufbau wenig Fachkenntnisse und Zeit. In einer oder mehreren der Zonen sind Öffnungen für die Ofentüren belassen.
Die Kacheln werden bereits fabriksmässig mit einer Schamotteeinlage oder einer Einlage aus sonstigem feuerfesten Material ausgestattet, so dass das lästige Verschmieren der Ofeninnenfläche an Ort und Stelle nach dem Aufbau wegfällt. In den Schamotteeinlagen ist in jeder Ecke ein Längskanal 7 ausgespart ; die Kanäle 7 der aufeinanderliegenden Kacheln fügen sich zu einem durchlaufenden Längskanal zusammen, der im Postament 4 beginnt und in der Ofendecke endet. Durch Öffnungen 8 des Postamentes 4 gelangt kalte Luft in das Postament, steigt durch die Kanäle 7 aufwärts und wird hiebei erwärmt und verlässt-in der Deckelebene 9 den Ofen.
Die Heizung kann in der bei Kachelofen üblichen Weise ausgebildet sein ; es ist aber auch möglich, in dem Ofeninnenraum einen Füllof en 10 unterzubringen.

Tiled stoves are already known in which U-shaped tiles are used. The invention now relates to such a tiled stove and consists in the fact that each of the superimposed jacket zones of the stove consists only of two U-shaped tiles that collide with the legs.
The purpose of the invention is to make the assembly and construction of the furnace as simple as possible, so that it can be manufactured without special knowledge and in a short amount of time and can therefore be kept low in price.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in FIG. 1 in front view, in FIG. 2 in cross section.
The furnace shell is composed of tiles which, according to the invention, form two horizontal shell zones. The front tiles 1 extend over the entire front surface and the two half side surfaces; the rear tiles 2 extend over the entire rear side and the remaining parts of the side surfaces. In the exemplary embodiment, the tiles thus have the shape of a wide U in each layer, which collide with the legs and form a closed, horizontal jacket element. The tiles are connected in a known manner by brackets which are inserted into holes 3 which are located near the closing joint in the tile wall.
The safety regulations are taken into account in that all corners remain closed and no open joints are formed in these places. The furnace is placed on foot 4 and set up in a very short time; the zones with two tiles each are put together quickly and require little specialist knowledge and time to assemble and set up. Openings for the oven doors are left in one or more of the zones.
The tiles are factory-fitted with a fireclay insert or an insert made of other refractory material, so that the annoying smearing of the inside of the furnace is no longer necessary after assembly. A longitudinal channel 7 is recessed in each corner of the chamotte inlays; the channels 7 of the tiles on top of one another join together to form a continuous longitudinal channel that begins in the pedestal 4 and ends in the furnace ceiling. Cold air gets into the pedestal through openings 8 of the pedestal 4, rises up through the channels 7 and is heated in the process and leaves the furnace in the cover level 9.
The heater can be designed in the usual way with tiled stoves; but it is also possible to accommodate a filling furnace 10 in the furnace interior.
