 EMI1.1

The subject of the invention is a drive iron for resonance spring drives, in particular those with a large number of oscillators, which are usually arranged side by side. The
Triebisen according to the invention is characterized by its sigma shape with long overlapping
Pole armies.

An embodiment in which the driving iron has the shape of the small Greek sigmoid is illustrated in the accompanying drawing.

The long, overlapping pole legs of the drive iron 2 fastened to a permanent magnet 1 are designated by 31 and 32. A multiplicity of springs 3 lies in the air gap. ? between the mutually facing surfaces of the pole legs 31 and 32. The excitation coil 4 is applied to the transverse web 35 of the drive iron. The arrangement described is advantageous because the transverse web 35 is the part of the drive iron furthest from the air gap 33 and consequently there is enough space to accommodate the drive parts, such as drive tongues, sling levers, etc., in the vicinity of the resonance springs, of which due to the long overlap of the pole legs, a considerable number can be arranged.

The compact design, which is particularly advantageous, is not impaired in any way, not even if the exciter coil 4 is to be large. As the drawing shows, the control magnet 1 on the leg 31 above the resonance tongue is very simple Means, screws or rivets, fasten and remain easily accessible at all times.
