Den Einsatz für prismatische Kartons zum Verpacken von Glühlampen aus einem rechteckigen Pappstreifen abfallos herzustellen, ist bereits bekannt, es ist aber bisher nicht gelungen, dem Einsatz eine so einfache Gestalt zu geben, dass die Umformung des flachen Streifens zum Einsatz mit wenigen Handgriffen möglich wäre. Die Beseitigung dieses Übelstandes bildet die Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung. Ferner soll die Möglichkeit geschaffen werden, mit einem Pappstreifen kleiner Länge das Auslangen zu finden und dadurch den Materialbedarf herabzusetzen.
Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, dass der rechteckige Pappstreifen zu einem U-förmigen, zweckmässig gleichschenkligen Rahmen abgebogen ist, aus dessen Mittelteil ein Loch ausgestanzt ist, in welches die Lampenfassung eingezwängt wird, während in bekannter Weise aus den Schenkeln ausgestanzte Lappen nach abwärts abgebogen sind und Füsse bilden, die den einen, gegebenenfalls beide Schenkel auf Kartonlänge ergänzen.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes schaubildlich dargestellt.
Der rechteckige Pappstreifen ist zu einem dreiseitigen Rahmen abgebogen, dessen Mittelteil mit 1 und dessen Schenkel mit 2 bezeichnet sind. Ein Loch 3 im Mittelteil, dessen Abmessungen den Querschnittsabmessungen des Kartons gleich sind, dient zur Aufnahme der Fassung der Lampe 4. Aus den beiden Schenkeln sind Lappen 5 ausgestanzt und abwärts abgebogen. Wie aus der Darstellung des mit Strichpunktlinien gezeichneten Kartons zu erkennen ist, ist die Schenkellänge vermehrt um die Lappenlänge gleich der Kartonhöhe und es wird daher der Einsatz im Karton unverrückbar festgehalten. Diese Wirkung wird auch dann erreicht, wenn einer der beiden Schenkel des Einsatzes verkürzt ist. Sind die Lappen 5 aufgebogen, so kann die Umformung des Pappstreifens zum Einsatz mit einer Hand und in einem Griff geschehen.
Die andere Hand bleibt frei, um die Lampe einzusetzen und den Karton zu halten, wenn der Einsatz mit eingesteckter Lampe eingeschoben wird.
Das Loch 3 im Mittelteil hat so kleinen Durchmesser, dass die Fassung der Lampe durch das Loch durchgezwängt werden muss und geklemmt wird. Gegebenenfalls können aus den Schenkeln noch Lappen 6 ausgestanzt sein, die etwas einwärts gebogen werden und der Birne eine federnde Stütze bieten.

It is already known to produce the insert for prismatic cardboard boxes for packing incandescent lamps from a rectangular cardboard strip without waste, but it has not yet been possible to give the insert such a simple shape that the flat strip can be reshaped for use in a few simple steps. The object of the present invention is to eliminate this disadvantage. Furthermore, the possibility should be created to make do with a cardboard strip of small length and thereby reduce the material requirement.
The essence of the invention is that the rectangular cardboard strip is bent into a U-shaped, expediently isosceles frame, in the middle part of which a hole is punched into which the lamp socket is wedged, while tabs punched out of the legs are bent downwards in a known manner and form feet that complement one or both legs to the length of the box.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown diagrammatically in the drawing.
The rectangular cardboard strip is bent to form a three-sided frame, the middle part of which is denoted by 1 and whose legs are denoted by 2. A hole 3 in the middle part, the dimensions of which are the same as the cross-sectional dimensions of the cardboard, is used to receive the socket of the lamp 4. Tabs 5 are punched out of the two legs and bent downwards. As can be seen from the illustration of the cardboard box drawn with dotted lines, the leg length, increased by the length of the flap, is equal to the cardboard height and the insert in the cardboard box is therefore held immovably. This effect is also achieved when one of the two legs of the insert is shortened. If the flaps 5 are bent up, the reshaping of the cardboard strip for use can be done with one hand and in one grip.
The other hand remains free to insert the lamp and to hold the box when the insert with the lamp inserted is pushed in.
The hole 3 in the middle part has such a small diameter that the socket of the lamp has to be forced through the hole and is clamped. If necessary, tabs 6 can also be punched out of the legs, which are bent slightly inward and provide the pear with resilient support.
