   Die Anmelderin hat an anderer Stelle vorgeschlagen, die sogenannten Kunstseidenspinnkuchen zum Zwecke des Auswaschens, Nachbehandeln, Trocknens, Färbens u. dgl. in schlauchförmige, durch- lässige Gewebe oder netzartige Umhüllungen einzuschlagen, welche vorzugsweise aus Kunstseide (Viskose- seide) oder Mischgeweben aus Kunstseide und andern Stoffen, insbesondere Baumwolle, bestehen. Um das Aufrauhen, Ausfasern und Aufgehen der Bindung an den Enden des Schlauches zu verhindern, werden nach vorliegender Erfindung die Enden des Schlauches verstärkt, z. B. durch Verdichtung der Bindung selbst oder durch Anwendung einer vermehrten Maschenzahl, Einführung stärkerer Gewebefäden, wie   Baumwollfäden,   oder Übernähen der Schlauchenden oder Verwendung mehrerer Gewebe oder Gewirk- lagen an den gefährdeten Enden.
