Ignition material for mechanically or electrically ignited fuses, primers and detonators of all kinds.
According to the present invention, the primer mass for fuses, detonators, percussion caps and the like are used. Like. As well as for electric detonators and detonators, detonators and the like. Like., Percussion or friction detonators, in whole or in part one or more basic, acidic or normal lead salts of 2-mononitroresorcinol are used.
According to the invention, the normal and acidic lead salts of lead mononitroresorcinol can be used individually or together in a mixture or in conjunction with the basic salt or with lead monoxide or lead hydroxide or another lead oxide.
The following four different primer mixtures can serve as examples:

For ignition sets for electric igniters etc. The following points must be mentioned in particular.
The lead mononitroresorcinates are not as powerful explosives as basic lead trinitroresorcinates. If an ignition head is ignited and the ignition charge is too powerful, as when using the latter connection, the outer parts in the ignition head are easily scattered instead of being ignited. The ignition of the lead salts of the 2-mononitroresorcin does not take place so quickly, so that the outer parts are also safely ignited. They provide a good pilot flame to initiate the ignition of a primer or a safety igniter.
The above-mentioned salts of mononitroresorcinol do not explode, even in considerable quantities, if they are openly ignited, but rather burn off calmly. They are therefore safer to handle than lead trinitroresorcinate. Together with the collodion used in the manufacture of ignition heads, they form an easy-to-process and permanent paste without coagulation occurring. They can withstand storage in extreme climatic conditions without spoiling.
The invention is not limited to the listed primer mixtures or weight ratios of the salts and other admixtures in impact or friction igniters; on the contrary, it can all, so far in the production of primers u. like applied
Substances are also used.
