Device for the automatic operational management of a power plant or a power plant group.
If several power machines of a single power plant or several power plants work on a common network, so-called "performance schedules" are usually drawn up by the management for the machines covering the base load, which precisely determine for each machine or power plant what power it has in each Time to generate, while the remaining machines have to maintain the number of periods, ie each have to generate enough power that the number of periods neither increases nor decreases. The control panel attendants have to operate the servomotors for the most exact adherence to the prescribed for the individual machines, Timetables "and to keep the number of periods constant.
The schedules are mostly independent of the total output that the interconnected plants have to generate; they are based on the type of individual machines (older or modern steam engines, diesel engines), their fuel consumption, the tariffs set up by the individual plants, etc. Like. The invention exists!) U) i

Control organs for regulating the generation, absorption and distribution of the load or for shifting the reactive load are triggered by measuring devices.
The device essentially consists of a clock and a power indicator. he. The clock drives in a manner known per se a drum provided with hour division, which makes one revolution within 24 hours and on the cylinder surface of which the Leish.lmgsfahrpla cut out in cardboard, sheet metal or the like. n '' is attached in such a way that the power output of the machine to be controlled appears above every hour division. The base line of the "timetable" on which the times from midnight to midnight are plotted must therefore be just as long as the circumference of the drum.

marked "P" on the performance schedule.
By means of the spring F, a still S guided in a longitudinal slot or by means of a handlebar is pressed against the contour of the timetable that protrudes slightly from the drum. so that it always lies against this contour when the drum rolls off.
The movement of the pin 8 is transmitted to a lever H, which can be rotated around the axis of rotation of the pointer Z of the wattmeter of the machine to be controlled, so that the center line b-b'of the rotary lever II is set on the power display of the wattmeter scale, which the Schedule performance. on which the pin S is currently standing.
If the wattmeter pointer Z is in the same position as the center line b-b 'of the lever R, i.e. in the position as shown in FIG. 1, this means that the power. which the machine to be controlled delivers, at that moment just matches the performance. which they should deliver according to the drawn up timetable P. If the wattmeter pointer is further to the left, the machine's performance is less than that which it can deliver according to the schedule.
In this case, the pointer closes after overcoming a small released clearance

causes a higher output of the machine. If the wattmeter pointer Z is too far to the right. So if the power output of the machine is greater than that to be output according to the schedule, the pointer closes the armature circuit of the servomotor via the contact al in the opposite direction and thus causes a lower power output of the machine.
This automatic regulating process will continue until the wattmeter pointer Z swings freely between the stops a and a ', until the power output of the machine corresponds to that to be output according to the schedule.
If the power indicator is attached to the junction between two power networks and the information from this power indicator is transferred to a power indicator located in the peak power plant (remote power indicator), the power generation of the machines intended for frequency maintenance can be controlled with the devices described in such a way that between the two Networks the performance prescribed in the timetable is postponed. The load that the machines controlled in this way generate themselves will in this case not correspond to the load that the schedule prescribes for the shift between the two networks.
Rather, the machines will cover part of the load on the primary network and generate so much load that the power required at the given point in time is pushed from one network to the other.
By equipping each machine of a power plant or a power plant group with the prescribed control device, the total load of each power plant or each power plant group can be distributed to the individual machine sets of each power plant or to the power plants of a power plant group in a temporally and quantitatively predetermined manner and independently of the total load .
If the rotary levers H1, H2, H3 of the measuring devices, for example wattmeters, of the individual machine sets L II, III are coupled, as shown in Fig. 2, then, with the appropriate scale division of the measuring devices, one can achieve that the load shares that each machine takes on, are always in the same relationship to each other. In Fig. 2 behave, for. B. the.

The wattmeter, which shows the total load of the entire power plant or a group of power plants, does not control any of the watt meters according to a pre-drawn schedule, so you can achieve that each machine takes over a certain, predetermined part of the respective total load. This device can in particular also be used to distribute the peak power that the machines holding the number of periods (see paragraph 1 of the description) have to take over according to a certain distribution key. Are z. If, for example, there are two machines of the same size to cover peaks, you can only achieve by coupling the rotary levers of the wattmeter of these machines that each machine always takes over half of the total power peak to be covered.
The above description is based on the control of "performance schedules" and performance distribution keys. The devices described are the same
