Die bisher bekannten Handgeräte zum Fussbodenwichsen sind flach und zur Beschwerung mit einer Eisenplatte versehen. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Fussbodenwichsvorrichtung, bei welcher gemäss der Erfindung die das Glänzwerkzeug (Bürste, Filzbelag) tragende Fläche als Wiegefläche ausgebildet ist und der Gerätestiel exzentrisch am Tragkörper angelenkt ist, so dass der Tragkörper in eine schwingende Bewegung versetzt werden kann.
Fig. 1 der Zeichnung zeigt die Vorrichtung in beispielsweiser Ausführungsform in Seitenansicht, Fig. 2 im Schnitt, Fig. 3 ist eine Draufsicht mit der Bürstenseite oben, Fig. 4 eine Draufsicht mit dem Filzbelag oben. Am Tragkörper 1 ist auf einer Seite die Bürstenunterlage mittels der Armierung la angebracht, auf welcher die Bürsten 4, durch die Abstände 4a getrennt, befestigt werden. Auf der andern Seite des Tragkörpers 1 ist der Filzbelag od. dgl. 6, gehalten durch die Befestigung 5, gespannt, der zum Nachglänzen verwendet werden kann. Der Tragkörper besteht aus Kunststein. Metall od. dgl. Die Bürstenelemente bestehen aus Metall oder Holzleisten, in welche Borsten eingezogen sind.
Am Tragkörper ist exzentrisch mittels einer Gabel der Stiel angebracht. Durch die Ausnehmung 2 am Tragkörper 1 geht der Bolzen 2a, welcher den ganzen Tragkörper durch die Gabel 7 mit dem Stiel 9, gehalten durch die

gende Bewegung. Um ein Abstossen der Möbel und Wände zu verhindern, ist um den Tragkörper ein Filz oder Gummistreifen 10 angebracht. Der Stiel ist abnehmbar. Trotz dem schweren Gewichte der Bürste ist deren Handhabung sehr leicht, da sie nicht, wie die andern Bürsten hin und her geschoben werden muss, sondern durch Aufdrücken auf den Stiel in schwingende Bewegung gerät und daher sehr schnell und leicht arbeitet.
Das Glänzen des Bodens geschieht viel gründlicher, da durch die schwingende Bewegung die Glanzmasse (Bodenwachs) sehr gut verteilt wird, sich nicht verschmiert, sondern gut geschliffen wird. Die Bürsten sind leicht zu reinigen und leicht auszuwechseln, so dass bei Abnutzung nicht immer die ganze Bürste erneuert werden muss.
