Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Device for receiving radio signals, which contains one or more high-frequency amplifiers.

The invention relates to radio systems, in particular radio receivers, which contain two or more discharge tubes which are fed from a common power source and are provided with indirectly heated cathodes.

It is already known to use two capacitors of the same size in receiving circuits in which circulating capacitors are used in the anode circuit of a detector tube to return the high-frequency oscillations to the cathode, which are connected on the one hand to one of the leads of the filament and on the other hand to the anode.

It is also known in parallel to or in series with the glow current lines or in parallel and in series with the latter between two or more of the tubes in which high-frequency currents occur, Rea1. -dance to be installed in such a size that coupling between these tubes via the lines mentioned is prevented.

It has been found that with discharge tubes with an indirectly heated cathode, the
 EMI1.1
when using more than one high-frequency amplifier, the coupling already indicated above can occur.

This inconvenience can be remedied appropriately by placing between the middle of the
 EMI1.2

The figure shows the scheme for feeding a discharge tube with an indirectly heated cathode. The filament 10 contained in this cathode is fed from lines 1 and 2. Furthermore, the cathode 11 is connected by means of a line 15 to the center point of a voltage divider 12 connected in parallel to the glow wire 10. It has now been found that if more than one high-frequency amplifier is used, the alternating current potential occurring between line 15 and the glow current supply lines can cause undesired couplings between these tubes. A circulating capacitor 13 is now placed between the line 15 and the glow current line.

Although not absolutely necessary, to achieve complete symmetry between the line 15 and the glow current line j! a capacitor 14 can be attached.
