Image throwing system with optical compensation for image movement.

Image throwing systems with optical compensation of the image movement by means of a plane-parallel glass prism inserted into the beam path are known.

According to the invention, the glass prism is arranged between the image-side and screen-side Lil1sensytem of the lens.

In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject invention for episcopic projection is shown.

The light rays coming from the illuminated image surface c-d and penetrating the image-side lens system a are more or less deflected by the glass prism P, depending on its position, and thrown from the screen-side lens system b onto the projection screen e-f. In the example, the roller g transports four images in one revolution, and since a four-sided prism P has been selected, this must be at the same angular speed, but in the opposite direction of rotation as
 EMI1.1
 to make stationary.

The connection of the rotatable glass prism between the image-side and screen-side lens system of an objective has the following advantages over the known arrangement of a glass prism between the image and the objective:
An oblique beam beam coming from image point C, for example, is used in the invention
 EMI1.2
The image and the lens had already experienced such a deflection by the same that only a small part of the rays could reach the screen. In addition, with this arrangement, in order to eliminate the image point migration from c to d, the prism "would have such significant dimensions that a large part of the luminosity of the light rays would be swallowed up by it.
