Malschloss.

Fig. 3).

Painting lock.
The subject of the invention is a Malschloss (key-key-less safety lock) with two tumbler disks rotatable about the same axis, to be set by a sliding knob, which is distinguished from known locks of this type by great simplicity of design and ease of manufacture by only having a single spring and apart from this, the rotary knob and some pins only has stamped and partly pressed sheet metal parts.
The lock is shown on the drawing by Fig. 1 in longitudinal section along the broken line A-B of Fig. 2 and by Fig. 2 and 3 without a cover in a top view, u. between. By Fig.] and 2 in the open and by Fig. 3 in the closed state.
On the bottom of the lock case there is a substantially rectangular plate 2 which is displaceable in the longitudinal direction and which carries the bolt 3 and a nose 4 and has an elongated hole 5 and two longitudinal slots 6 (FIG. 2). The nose 4 and the elongated hole J lie in the longitudinal axis of the lock, the slots 6 symmetrically and parallel to the same. On the plate 2 are the two round tumbler 7, a slightly smaller washer 8 and two hook-shaped levers 9, u. between these parts lie loosely on top of one another. The disks 7 have a large round hole 10 in the middle (FIGS. 1 and 2), the disk 8 has a somewhat smaller round hole 11 and four notches in its edge.
Furthermore, the disks 7 each

Pins 15 one forms the pivot of the lower and the other that of the upper lever 9 by protruding through a hole in the lever up to its top, while the two right
Pins 16 only protrude up to the level of the upper side of the upper disk 7.
On the cover 16 of the box 1 sits the longitudinally displaceable rotary knob 17, which has a collar 18 located in an elongated hole in the cover and carries a pin 19 engaging in the elongated hole 5 of the plate 4. On this pin sits a solid round one directly above the upper lever 9

Pin apart the inner ends of the levers 9 crossing in front of it, so that these levers now also see these disks through their outer ends abutting the tabs 14 of the disks 7
Turn the position according to FIGS. 1 and 2 into that according to FIG. 3, in which the nose 4 of the plate 2, instead of the incisions 12, faces a part of the outer edge of the discs 7, so that the backward movement of the plate 2 to the right by the nose the edge of the pane is prevented.
To enable this movement again, i. H. To unlock the lock, turn the button 17 pushed back into the extended position according to FIGS. 1 and 2 with the disk 20 first to one side and then to the other until the mark on the foot of the button shows a certain graduation the cover 16 attached scale is opposite. Hiebei also the tumbler 7 and the lever 9 are rotated back into the position according to FIGS. 1 and 2 by the
