Sicherhpitsvorrichtung für Kraftwagenstarter.
Es sind Sieherheitsvorrichtungen gegen unbefugte Benutzung von Kraftfahrzeugen bekannt, durch welche der Lichtschalter gesperrt und die Zttndstromquelle kurzgeschlossen wird. Bei diesen Anlagen wird jedoch das Hauptkabel, d. i. das Starterkabel, nicht unterbrochen, so dass die Leitungen bis zum Schaltkasten noch unter Strom verbleiben und daher nicht alle Gefahrmomente ausgeschaltet sind.
Durch die Erfindung wird dieser Nachteil beseitigt und besteht dieselbe in der besonderen Schaltung, welche derart, dass mit dem Abschalter das von der Batterie zum Starter führende Stromkabel und gleichzeitig ein die Dynamomaschine mit dem Wagengestell kurzschliessendes Kabel geschlossen bzw. unterbrochen werden kann, so dass bei Einschalten des Akkumulators der durch das Hauptkabel fliessende starke Strom unterbrochen und die Lichtmaschine kurzgeschlossen wird.
In der Zeichnung ist das Sehaltungsschema eines Kraftwagenstarters und der Wagrnbe1euehtung mit einer Sieherungsvorriehtung gemäss der Erfindung beispielsweise veranschaulicht.
Es ist mit 1 der Starter, mit 2 die Batterie, mit 3 die Lichtmaschine, mit 4 die Scheinwerfer, mit l5 ein Amperemeter und mit 6 das Horn bezeichnet.
In das von der Batterie 2 zum Starter j ! führende Stromkabel 7 ist erfindungsgemäss ein Abschalter 8 eingeschaltet. Ferner ist der Abschalter 8 durch ein Kabel 9 einerseits an die Dynamomaschine 3 angeschlossen und anderseits mit der Masse 10, z. B. dem Wagengestell, leitend verbunden. Die eigent-

Drückers 11 wird der Absehalter eingeschaltet, wobei die Schaltteile 12, 13 die in der Zeichnung gezeigte Stellung einnehmen. In dieser Schaltstellung ist die Batterie 2 abgeschaltet und durch das Kabel 9 die Dynamomasehine 3 kurzgeschlossen. Hiedurch ist jede Gefahr eines unbeabsichtigten Erschöpfen der Batterie sowie jede Kurzschlussgefahr ausgeschlossen.
Durch den Abschalter 8 wird die Betriebssicherheit des Wagens wesentlich erhöht und bei Wagenreparaturen ist es nicht mehr nötig, die Batterie wegen Kurzschlussgefahr herauszunehmen.
Der Abschalter erfordert keine Bedienung, ist von unbeschränkter Lebensdauer, geringem Gewicht und kann bei jedem Wagen verwendet werden.

Security devices against unauthorized use of motor vehicles are known, by means of which the light switch is blocked and the ignition current source is short-circuited. In these systems, however, the main cable, i. i. the starter cable, not interrupted, so that the lines up to the switch box are still energized and therefore not all dangerous moments are switched off.
The invention eliminates this disadvantage and consists in the special circuit, which is such that with the switch, the power cable leading from the battery to the starter and at the same time a cable short-circuiting the dynamo with the car frame can be closed or interrupted so that at Switching on the battery, the strong current flowing through the main cable is interrupted and the alternator is short-circuited.
