Roller table for cooling beds.
The invention relates to a further development of the roller table for cooling beds of rolling mills according to patent no. 105573. In the roller table protected by this patent with two or more rolling stock feed channels arranged next to one another, each channel consists of a stationary and a liftable and lowerable channel part, the latter as a partial strip and also serves as a lifting device for the rolling stock. This movable channel part has so far been designed in the manner of a slide and, when lifting and lowering, is carried out in approaches to the channel body or on the channel wall. The surfaces that slide on one another must therefore be machined and permanently well lubricated.
According to the invention, the movable channel parts are now shaped like an arc of a circle and are expediently arranged to be pivotable about a common axis. With this design and mounting of the movable channel parts, parts sliding on one another, which require special processing and maintenance, are avoided. The weight of each part of the gutter can be easily compensated with counterweights.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing. The next

lowerable channel part 8, 9. These parts 8, 9 are shaped like a circular arc, as are the intermediate wall 3 and the channel wall 10 adjacent to the cooling bed 1. Each of the two movable channel parts 8, 9 is supported by the arms 8 ', 9' carried, which are pivotable about the axis 11. A rod 12, 13 engages at the bottom of each of the channel parts 8, 9 and is attached to the levers 16, 17, which are pivotably mounted on the drives 14, 15

is articulated to the channel wall 3.
The discharge device can be opened to facilitate access to the channel 5. The mode of operation of the movable trough parts 8, 9 is the same as that of the trough parts described in patent specification no. 111806. The lifting device for the channel parts can also be different from the one shown. As a result of the pivotable arrangement of the channel parts 8, 9, friction between the movable and stationary parts of the roller table is practically avoided. The number of troughs is arbitrary and depends on the number of rolling bars entering next to each other.
The invention can of course also be applied to a single channel which consists of a stationary and movable channel part serving as a lifting device.
