Die Mittelfeder des Federnpaketes ist durch M mit jenem Zweig der Amtsleitung verbunden, welcher den-Pol vom Fernkonuektor bringt : der Strom wird daher über geschlossenen Kontakt 1 von R und Kontakt j des Schalters SCH zum Wecker Br fliessen, welcher anderseits an Erde liegt ;

Circuit arrangement fill telephone subscriber stations for controlling telephone calls.
The invention relates to a circuit device for subscriber stations, through which a special signal is given during long-distance calls, both when the long-distance call is received and when the long-distance connection is disconnected, in order to attract the attention of the person supervising this station during this signal ordinary outgoing and incoming local calls does not sound.
In public places such as restaurants, coffeehouses, etc., local calls are allowed to guests either free of charge or for a small fee to the owner. It is now possible to make long distance calls without the knowledge of the owner so that the long distance call fee is billed to the owner after the fact. In order to prevent this, according to the invention, a special device was made mainly for self-access exchanges, with a special signal sounding in the subscriber's rooms in order to attract his attention when a long-distance call is made. The same signal is given when the long distance call is ended.
For this purpose a special polarized relay was provided according to the invention.
The contacts of this relay are connected to an alarm bell via the switch. For local calls, this polarized relay receives the feed current in such a direction that it does not respond.
On long-distance calls mediated by the telephonist, the two branches of the subscriber lines in the long-distance connection cabinet are reversed, causing the current to flow in the opposite direction, energizing the relay and ringing an alarm clock that attracts the owner's attention directs.
There now follows a detailed description of the circuit arrangement according to the invention, given with reference to the drawing.
In the case of a local connection, the feed current takes the following course: battery in the local authority (-Pol), via the upstream pawl VK and main distributor HV to the subscriber loop of the station TS, winding of the polarized relay R, main distributor HV, upstream pawl VK and back to the battery in the local authority (+ Pol ).
The feed current flows in the winding of the relay R in a certain direction, u. between the arrow direction; Since the relay is polarized and only responds when the current flows against the direction of the arrow, the relay will not respond when making local calls.
EMI1.1
the direction indicated by the arrow through the winding of R. The signal relay R attracts its armature and closes its contact 1. The central spring of the spring assembly is connected by M to that branch of the exchange line which brings the pole from the remote connector: the current becomes therefore flow via closed contact 1 of R and contact j of switch SCH to alarm clock Br, which on the other hand is connected to earth;
Alarm clock sounds. By moving SOH the alarm clock circuit is switched off
EMI1.2
will therefore flow via the latter contact, contact 4 of the switch SOH to the alarm clock, which sounds recently and indicates the end of the long-distance call. The switch is thrown back to contact 3, which silences the alarm, since contact 1 of R is open. The described processes are repeated when a new remote connection is established.
