Drive system for electrical apparatus.
There are electromagnetic direct current drive systems for sensitive apparatus with an armature rotatable in a direct current field (rapid regulator with contact sectors, relays, etc.), which in and of themselves result in a straight line characteristic in a relatively large angular range up to 600, u. between these work according to the moving coil principle. In these drive systems, the iron of the magnetic field is stationary and the moving coil is arranged in an air gap. This arrangement has the disadvantage that, for mechanical reasons, it requires a relatively large air gap in the magnetic field, which requires a large number of field ampere turns to generate a certain field strength.
According to the invention, the same characteristic is achieved in that a double-T-shaped iron armature is provided, which carries a current winding on its web, the ends of the flanges of the double-T-armature being drawn together except for a small air gap.
In the drawing, an embodiment of the invention is shown applied to a rapid regulator.
It means a field magnet which is magnetized by the windings b and c. d is the armature attached to the axis e, which is mounted in the two tips t and g and is provided with a winding h through which the current flows. Since there is no moving coil in the air gap, it can be reduced to the smallest mechanically permissible level, so that the drive system is significantly lighter and fewer ampere turns are required for magnetization.
This arrangement gives a linear characteristic as long as the air gap of the T-armature moves within the pole arc of the field magnet.
As directional forces for easy setting of the desired statics or astatics of the drive system in the entire work area, a coil spring i is used as a main spring, which is attached to the fixed part p of the controller with one end and the other end on the controller Additional spring m with an approximately constant tensile force as a result of the lever arm k which can be changed via a joint piece 1. High-alloy sheet iron is used for the magnet system in order to keep the disruptive influence of remanence within practically negligible limits.
The windings on the armature and on the field poles are switched on in a known manner jointly or separately in the circuit to be regulated, while the resistor q controlled by the contact sector n is switched on in the circuit with which the regulation is to take place.
