Druckknopfartiger Verschluss.

Snap-button closure.
The invention relates to those snap-fastener-type closures in which the halves forming the button part are fastened on a common resilient base plate, and consists in the special structural configuration of such a closure as is characterized in the claims.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention of an exemplary embodiment is illustrated, u. between: FIG. 1 shows a side view with a partial section on the left of the entire

The head part of the closure has two symmetrically formed hollow button halves a, b, which are arranged separately in their longitudinal center plane and which are made of metal. At the outlet of the button neck of parts a, b, horizontal legs c, d facing away at right angles are provided. with which the button halves a, b are connected to a cross-like metal base e. The connection is made

the base e are used to attach the entire button part of the fastener to the object in question (car, boat or the like).
As a result of this type of fastening in connection with the resilient property of the material used in the base e, the button halves a, b are given the required spreading pressure, which is necessary to bring the button parts a, b to overlap the metal eyelet t, which the passage opening of the Plane x surrounds and rests against the neck-like extensions of parts a, b. It is important that the neck of the metal eyelet t has exactly the same length as the two neck-like extensions of the button parts a, b, which prevents the eyelet part from wobbling.
The metal

inner clear width is equal to the circumference of the two neck-like extensions on the button parts a, b when they are in the rest position. A protective hood y, which is supported in a known manner over the fastening opening of the tarpaulin x and fastened to the metal eyelet or loe rim f, prevents injuries to the hand when the lock is operated and gives it a pleasing appearance. The hood y can have different shapes and be designed as desired. The button parts a, b can be hollow in larger dimensions, while the massive design could be used for smaller dimensions.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Push button-like closure in which the halves forming the button part are fastened on a resilient base plate, characterized in that the button halves (a, b) are provided with tabs (c, d) at right angles to their neck-shaped continuations, which are provided with rivets (k ) or the like are attached to the base plate (s).
