Fig. 1 ist ein Längsschnitt durch die Waschmaschine.

Brush and washing machine with a brush that moves back and forth in the longitudinal direction due to the water drive.
The subject of the invention is a brush and washing machine with a brush that moves back and forth in the longitudinal direction by a water drive, which makes it possible to clean flat and hollow objects in a simple manner and without dirtying the worker.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment.
Fig. 1 is a longitudinal section through the washing machine. FIGS. 2 and 3 show the control elements in the diagram. Fig. 4 shows a longitudinal section through the combined control members. Fig. 5 shows the clamping bracket for holding the brush. 6-9 relate to a modified embodiment.
In a cylindrical tube 1, a piston 2 is provided, which is firmly connected to a drainage tube 3 passed through the front end wall of the tube 1. This tube is inserted with its rear end into a prismatic control head 4, which is provided at the rear end with a recess into which a pressure pipe 6 is inserted, which serves to supply the pressurized water. The control head has two transverse bores 7, 8, which are connected to the tubes 3, 6. The tube 1 is closed off at both ends by screwed-on end caps 9, 10. On the rear end of the tube 1, a soap container 11 is pushed and secured by an elastic ring 12, for. B. made of rubber, sealed.
The soap container is closed by an attached or screwed-on cap 13 including an elastic seal l: 2a and has a pipe socket M surrounding the pipe 6, the front end of which reaches up to the end cap 10 and is tight when the machine is not used

which at its outer end with threads or beads! 7 is provided for holding a hose 18 pushed over it and intended for connection to the water pipe.
The pressurized water supplied through the central pipe 15 passes through the side bores 27 of the pressure pipe 6 in its interior and from there through the bore 8 of the control head 4 into the interior of the pipe 1, from where it passes through a stop sleeve 29 mounted in the pipe 1 on the piston 2 acts. The control head 4 is surrounded like a frame by a slide 28 sliding on the tubes 3, 6, which is provided on the two longitudinal walls of the frame with two openings 7 ', 8' assigned to the openings 7, 8 of the control head.
The tube 3 has openings 31, the cap 9 openings 32 through which the water can be supplied to the brush independently of the tube 3. A spring 34 is provided between the piston 2 and the cap 9, a spring 41 is provided between the control head 4 and the stop sleeve 29, and a spring 42 is provided between the control head and the end cap 10. The control head is connected to the slide 28 in the desired position by a clamp-like flat spring 33 fixed on the slide 28. To better seal the control head against the sash frame and to reduce friction, the part of the control head surrounding the openings 7 and 8 is designed as a viewing mirror 46 in a raised manner.
The brush itself is held with its wire pieces 36 by two nested clamping brackets 37, 38 firmly attached to the front end of the tube 1, of which the outer bracket has holes 39 for passing the brush wire 36 and two cutouts 40 (FIG. 6) through which Recesses in conjunction with the inner bracket 3, the clamping of the wire 36 can be accomplished by simply pushing it in.
The operation of the washing machine is as follows: The pressurized water flowing into the pipes 15 passes through the side openings 27 of the pipe 6 to the control head, which is enclosed by the slide 28 in the retracted position of the brush so that the transverse bore 8 is open and the transverse bore 7 is closed.

comes through the stop sleeve 22 on the piston 2 and this with the tube 3, the control head 4 including slide 28 and the tube 6 drives forward under tension of the spring 34 until the slide 28 pushes with its front end against the stop sleeve 22 and remains behind the steering head. During this displacement of the sliding frame 28 accelerated by the tensioned spring 41, the bore 8 of the control head is closed, but the bore 1 is released through the openings 7 ′.
By the force of the tensioned spring 34, the piston 2 is now thrown back again, the pressureless water in the pipe 1 flows through the hole 7 to the pipe 3, from where it is directly and via the side holes 31 and the holes 32 of the cap 9 of the Brush 5 is fed. When the piston and the parts firmly connected to it spring back, the slide 28 pushes with its spring 33 against the end cap 10, so that its opposite displacement, supported by the spring 42, occurs, the bore 8 is released, the bore 7 is closed, whereupon the The game starts all over again.
The springs 41 are intended to attenuate the impacts that occur during the rapid movement of the brush on the slide head and to bring about a rapid closure of the openings 7 and 8.
Soap powder or soap is introduced into the interior of the soap container 11. During normal use of the brush, the pressurized water is directed through the pipes 15, 14 and 6 to the control head, by simply holding the brush firmly against the object to be cleaned, deforming the sealing ring, the seal between the pipe section 14 and the end cap 10 is created canceled, so that the small margin created at this point (Fig.
1) Water can get to the soap powder, dissolve it and drag it to the brush. With regard to the use of warm water from a pressurized hot water tank, the tube 1 is covered with a rubber claw 43 to protect the hand and also to prevent it from being dented. 6 to 9 show an embodiment in which the openings '1 and 8 are provided by a pipe section 28' including a slot 44 which encompasses the pipe 3 and is provided with cutouts 7 ', 8' at its ends, in the manner of a round slide when moving to and fro Movement to be completed and opened. The movement of this round slide is through its slot 44 together with resilient pins 45 over the control channels 7 and 8 by the stop of the.
Causes the slide to the stop sleeve 29 'and to the end cap 10, as has already been described in the first embodiment.
