  Vacuum tube.

In the X-ray tube according to the main patent, one of its electrodes, advantageously the anti-cathode, is made movable by means of a thin-walled sealing ring provided with indented grooves.

This design of the sealing ring of one of the electrodes, which is favorable for the production of X-ray tubes, is also found in other vacuum tubes. especially with cathode ray tubes, as advantageous for achieving the most favorable mutual position of the electrodes.

In the figure, a cathode ray tube with a movable cathode arrangement is shown in an exemplary embodiment in longitudinal section.

Into the glass tube a that carries the cathode assembly b. a thin-walled metal cylinder d with indented grooves c is melted in a vacuum-tight manner. If the cathode ray bundle emanating from the cathode shows an uneven distribution with respect to the lenard window e after the completion of the cathode ray tube. this irregularity can be eliminated relatively easily by correspondingly bending the intermediate piece il of the cathode arrangement b.
